A liquid‐crystalline dibenzophenazine that was forced to adopt a head‐to‐head stacking arrangement to generate a large dipole moment adapted to this stacking by hierarchical assembly into a 2D hexagonal superlattice (see picture). Thus, the net dipole and the contact area between immiscible side chains were minimized. Homeotropic alignment of the assembly on glass gave rise to directional charge transport.
Based on the combination of single valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs) and fuzzy numbers, this paper proposes the concepts of a neutrosophic number and a trapezoidal neutrosophic number (TNN) as the extension of an intuitionistic fuzzy number and an intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy number (ITFN), the basic operational relations of TNNs and the score function of TNN. Then, we develop a trapezoidal neutrosophic weighted arithmetic averaging (TNWAA) operator and a trapezoidal neutrosophic weighted geometric averaging (TNWGA) operator to aggregate TNN information and investigate their properties. Furthermore, a multiple attribute decision making method based on the proposed TNWAA and TNWGA operators and the score function of TNN is established under TNN environment. Finally, an illustrative example of investment alternatives is given to demonstrate the application and effectiveness of the developed approach.
1,8-Dicarbonylcarbazoles are important starting materials for various applications, especially for pincer-type ligands. The convenient synthesis of a series of 1,8-diacyl-3,6-di-tert-butyl-9H-carbazoles (2) by the direct Friedel-Crafts acylation of 3,6-di-tert-butyl-9H-carbazole (1) is described. During the reaction, the dealkylation also occurred, and 1,8-diacetyl-3-tert-butyl-9H-carbazole (4) was isolated as well as characterized by an X-ray diffraction analysis. In addition, the steric bulkiness of the acyl chlorides strongly affects the yields of 1,8-diacylation of 1.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
