Det er essentielt da de fleste børn, som udsættes for seksuelle overgreb, krænkes af voksne som de har tilknytning til. Vigtigheden af at kunne fastholde såvel offer- som krænker aspekter diskuteres, og betydningen af at kunne se det kontinuum offer-krænker udgør som et JANUS-hoved. Endelig berøres betydningen af tværfagligt og tværsektorielt samarbejde i sager med seksuelle overgreb mod børn, samt små børns status i forhold til retssystemet.
