The loss of a metallic implant can be caused by the presence of sessile bacteria, biofilm formation and infection. The aim of this study was to evaluate bacterial adhesion on pure titanium used in dentistry. The experiment was conducted in a liquid culture sésseis isoladas e agrupadas, compatíveis com a estrutura morfológica de cocos aderidos nas superfícies lisa e rugosa.
