A pandemia da Covid-19 alterou as rotinas e consequentemente a vida das pessoas ao redor do mundo, considerando as novas normas de saúde e principalmente o período em que foi necessário realizar o isolamento social. O presente estudo analisou as possíveis alterações no desenvolvimento psicossocial de crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista que vivenciaram esse período de isolamento no Brasil. Considerando que as rotinas são fundamentais para a criança que possui o diagnóstico de TEA, tanto para evitar crises, quanto para estimular o aprendizado de habilidades de forma contínua, o desenvolvimento das mesmas não acontece da mesma forma que decorre com crianças típicas. Além disso, a rotina serve para ensinar habilidades de forma encadeada e frequente, a partir da previsibilidade, do modelo e da repetição. O desenvolvimento psicossocial também foi afetado pela alteração da rotina, já que o contato social foi consideravelmente resumido. A pesquisa é qualitativa e contou com entrevistas realizadas com familiares de crianças com TEA e psicólogos. Identificou-se nos dados coletados que houve alterações e prejuízos no desenvolvimento dessas crianças.
