From the perspective of macroeconomic indicators, investment is a significant determinant of economic development in general, as well as the development indicator of economic entities in the micro segment. Investments are an essential element of any economic policy, because their implementation provides a platform not only for economic development, but also are prerequisite for the stability of economic and social trends. Foreign direct investment plays an important role in the financing of the global economy, and it represents the most frequent feature in financing the national economies of developing countries and countries in transition. Demand for foreign investment in the global market is large, and thus the governments have been conducting many activities in order to create a more favorable environment to attract investors. In this paper, special attention was paid to direct investments in financing the economy on a global scale, their importance for the development of the global economy and the impact of foreign direct investment in the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The major activities, which are necessary to be done to attract investments in the highest possible volume, have been emphasized. With the use of statistical and quantitative analysis, the paper shows that the inflow of foreign capital is one of the basic prerequisite of economic growth acceleration and that the inflow of foreign capital has a positive impact on the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. By monitoring and analyzing the various instruments of foreign capital inflow, with an emphasis on investment in the free zone and a joint venture with foreign investors, it has been clearly pointed out the fact that they have diverse, but proven positive impact on macroeconomic variables in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The paper analyzes the importance of foreign direct investment and their impact on the new economy as well as the motivation factors for foreign direct investments. Process of integration of the world economy influences the changes in the attitude of the countries of the recipients of capital in relation to foreign direct investments. Today, there is a favorable climate on theinvestment in developing and transition countries, because these countries no longer watching with suspicion. FDI entry controls are customized adapting to selective state policies in order to boost their investment volume. The effects of foreign direct investment in developing and transition countries are not equal, as all countries do not have the same performance. The success of securing FDI inflows depends on the chosen strategy of each country and on the overall level of social and economic development of the country. The ability to government and domestic companies is to optimally take advantage of foreign direct investment. The paper analyzes the positive and negative effects of direct foreign investments for certain macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Serbia.
With the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), humanity has entered a new stage of development. The 4IR has become a reality for millions of people around the world, creating new business opportunities, governments and individuals. Nevertheless, it threatens the new political disagreements and contradictions within and between economies and societies. The combination with rising inequalities and geopolitical turmoil has stirred citizens' concerns about globalization and has provoked divided political opinions. Although world economic growth has been stronger over the past two years, the situation in the current changing economic and political context remains fragile. The World Economic Forum introduced the new Global Competitiveness Index 4.0 (GCI), a highly needed compass, based on a 40-year long experience of analyzing long-term competitiveness drivers. The results of the global competitiveness index provide impartial information that enables leaders in the public and private sectors to better understand and shape their strategies in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. The paper presents a detailed profile of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as tables with global ranking data with all indicators. Using quantitative methods and data from survey surveys, the Competitiveness Report ranks countries based on a combination of 98 indicators grouped in 12 pillars of competitiveness.
New information and communication technologies have found their applicationin all fi elds of activity (manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail, transport andstorage, information and communication, education, health care and social care andother activities). CAD / CAM applications are used in the industry for design, prototyping,fi nished products and realization of production programs, and in service activitiessuch as health care-dentistry is a process that achieves the fi nal treatment of the teeththrough fi ne grinding of fi nished ceramic blocks in order to achieve more effi cient work.CAD / CAM technology essentially allows the creation of two-dimensional, three-dimensional,fi ve-dimensional models and their materialization with numerically controlledmachines. In order to function more effi ciently, reduce costs, increase the effi ciency of theprocessing industry and services, achieve customer satisfaction and ultimately make aprofi t, many companies and dental offi ces in the world have focused on the implementationof modern IT solutions in everyday practice. From dedicated ceramic blocks, a dentistcan quickly provide a service (precise bridging and crown compensation) using CAD/ CAM technology (computer assisted-designed / computer-assisted production). The advantagesof this technology are presented in this paper. There are many systems likePoverMill, PoverShape, DeskProto 3D CAM, DeskProto V 7.0 in the industry as well asCercon, Celai, Cerec, Lava, Everest, which represent the imperative of modern dentistry.
Optimalno upravljanje integrisanim promjenama primjenom tehnologije matematičkog modeliranja. Anali poslovne ekonomije, br. 19, str. 1-12. 2 It is necessary to design a Change Management Model so that the system adapts to changes in an environment that will be sufficiently efficient and effective, ie, the optimal. Optimal cybernetic management of change implies that the system is proactive and that it in some degree has an impact on the environment. This implies that systems can not only be adaptive, but must have an actual developmental character. The aim of the paper is to point out the possible optimal management of integrated changes by applying mathematical modeling technology, as well as familiarizing stakeholders with research results. The paper presents the results of the research related to the problem of the management of development systems and processes, and the emphasis is on optimal economy, the new economy (optimum economy) and new technologies and technological processes that lead us towards optimal solutions.
