The conventional approach to search for new materials is to synthesize a limited number of candidates. However, this approach might delay or prevent the discovery of better-performing materials due to the narrow composition space explored. Here, we fabricate binary alloy films with a composition gradient in a single shot in less than one minute. We apply this approach to study the stability of halide perovskites. We synthesize all possible binary compositions from MAPbI3 and MAPbBr3 and then study their optical properties, structure, and environmental stability in a high-throughput manner. We find that perovskite alloys experience three different degradation mechanisms depending on halogen content: bromine-rich perovskites degrade by hydration, iodine-rich perovskites by the loss of the organic component, and all other intermediate alloys by phase segregation. The proposed method offers an avenue for discovering new materials and processing parameters for a wide range of applications that rely on compositional engineering.
Machine learning (ML) is a versatile technique to rapidly and efficiently generate insights from multidimensional data. It offers a much-needed avenue to accelerate the exploration and investigation of new materials to address timesensitive global challenges such as climate change. The availability of large datasets in recent years has enabled the development of ML algorithms for various applications including experimental/device optimization and material discovery. This perspective provides a summary of the recent applications of ML in material discovery in a range of fields, from optoelectronics to batteries and electrocatalysis, as well as an overview of the methods behind these advances. The paper also attempts to summarize some key challenges and trends in current research methodologies.
Methamphetamine is sometimes prescribed by doctors for specific diseases that with the entering the central nervous system caused by a sudden release of categulamine and particularly dopamine in the brain. It stimulates brain cells, enhancing aggressive mood and increased body movement. The purpose of this study was to investigate, has been the effects of methamphetamine on passive avoidance learning and memory in adult male Wistar rats. Male Wistar rats of rats in the weight range (180-220gr) (N=6) was Divided into healthy group -control group (saline received) and dose received groups (1.5, 3, 5 mg/kg). Half an hour before the test, intraperitoneally injection was done and after the test, every day at specific times for long-term memory test for one week Injection was done. Results have shown that the incidence of passive avoidance between healthy and control groups there was no significant difference but there is a significantly decreased between the control group and the group receiving methamphetamine. Increase learning and short-term memory and reduced long term memory and passive avoidance learning mechanism is probably due to the involvement of the hippocampus in learning and memory consolidation and short term memory convert to long-term memory could potential mechanism of methamphetamineinduced damage to hippocampal neurons, particularly CA1 neurons. Meanwhile, short-term memory-enhancing effects of methamphetamine can result in Increase cortisol is also a short-term strengthens to the memory but in long term it will damage and weaken the memory.
Abstract-Considering the raise in energy and material costs, the importance of preserving the existing raw materials, and also the need of accommodation and reaching sustainable construction, this paper explores the methods of optimization of energy and material in the construction process.Studying and comparing construction process and energy use in Iran with developed countries ( which is England in this study) and reaching methods which causes a great difference in use, implementation methods and construction process and also recognizing the problems and proposing solutions to solve these problems can help us reach a sustainable construction.Index Terms-Construction problems, energy, waste of material, strategy, sustainable construction. I. INTRODUCTIONThe need to develop accommodation is inevitable because of the increase in young generation population and family numbers. This rapid growth has involved building experts and Non-specialists to solve the problem. But non standard construction has caused negative effects. Some of the consequences are because of lack of careful monitoring on the implementation of the regulations due to the large quantity of buildings, and lack of durability and sustainability of materials. Using improper material and inefficient methods which are aimed at decreasing the costs are the main reasons of many of these challenges.Comparing construction process in Iran with that of a developed country and recognizing its weak points and proposing strategies to solve the problems can play a great role in reaching sustainable construction which is one of the factors of sustainable developments. The present research was done in seven main fields which are as follows: material, work force, construction methods, master, energy, problems during function, building identification document.
