(Gilberto de Tournai, 1200-1284) RESUMO Objetivo: Avaliar a prevalência de rastreio positivo de transtornos mentais comuns (transtornos do humor, de ansiedade e de somatização) e a percepção de qualidade de vida dos policiais civis de diferentes carreiras de uma região do Triângulo Mineiro. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, em que selecionamos uma amostra de conveniência de 202 policiais (aproximadamente 47% da população) do 9º Departamento de Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais, subdivididos entre as carreiras de delegados, escrivães, investigadores e peritos, atuantes nas cidades de Uberlândia, Ituiutaba e Araguari. Os instrumentos de avaliação consistiram em um questionário sociodemográfico e dois questionários validados para análise de qualidade de vida (The World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment -WHOQOL-Bref) e prevalência de transtornos mentais comuns (Self-Reporting Questionnaire -SRQ-20). Em fevereiro/2023, a Associação Brasileira de Psiquiatria - ABP promove a campanha contra o bullying, com o objetivo de chamar atenção para os impactos e riscos na saúde mental das vítimas dessa prática tão agressiva.Embora o bullying seja mais associado ao ambiente escolar, as tecnologias e as redes sociais possibilitaram a disseminação das agressões no ambiente virtual, com intensidade e dimensão bem maiores devido às filmagens, fotos e compartilhamentos nas redes. Ou seja, perde-se o controle de quantas pessoas estão visualizando e o que estão comentando, assim, aumentando, o nível da ofensa. No ABP TV de hoje, vamos debater o tema cyberbullying e a cultura do cancelamento - um assunto muito pertinente nos dias de hoje.
