Este artículo trata de la representación de la mujer afrobrasileña en la industria audiovisual de Brasil. Para eso, primero levantamos datos técnico-teóricos sobre el estado del cine brasileño en relación con la representación de la etnia negra. Puede verse a través de estos, un racismo estructural vigente en el sector, además de la exclusión de género. Por lo tanto, buscamos analizar si dos cortometrajes de circulación periférica, dirigidos por mujeres negras, se ajustan al Dogma Feijoada (Carvalho & Domingues, 2018): Cores e Botas (Juliana Vicente, 2010) y O dia de Jerusa (Viviane Ferreira, 2014). A la vista de los apuntes sobre la representación en César dos Santos y Berardo (2013), Raiter (2001) y Jaguaribe y Lissovsky (2014) optamos por un análisis figural de las dos películas, según Dubois (2012) y Brenez (1998). Así, encontramos en ellas elaboraciones plásticas capaces de contribuir a cuestionar la representación de la mujer afrobrasileña.
