A abordagem dos diferentes temas presentes na grade curricular é realizada de forma quase sempre teórica, sem qualquer demonstração para os estudantes, dificultando a compreensão do que está sendo exposto nas aulas. No intuito de tornar as aulas mais interessantes, tem-se buscado apoio nas tecnologias presentes nos dias atuais para facilitar a exposição dos conteúdos e com isso criar um ambiente mais favorável para a aprendizagem dos estudantes. No caso dos diversos temas de óptica a demonstração experimental é fundamental, visto que em muitos casos a discussão teórica não consegue dar conta de explicar todos os nuances do problema. A questão relacionada ao aquecimento dos corpos em função da iluminação por uma fonte policromática, já presente em avaliações para ao acesso do ensino superior, é um exemplo disso. Nesse sentido, nesse trabalho é apresentada uma proposta para realização da medida desse efeito, visando gerar dados para que os estudantes possam verificar que corpos mais escuros apresentam aquecimento maior que os de tons mais claros. Para isso foi montado um sistema com o uso da plataforma Arduino®, onde é possível demonstrar esse efeito de forma simples e com custo acessível.
