ZusammenfassungDie medizinische Anthropologie des Arztes und Mitbegründers der
Psychosomatik in Deutschland, Viktor von Weizsäcker (1886-1957), ist im
heutigen medizinischen Umfeld weitgehend vergessen oder unbekannt. Dieser
Umstand ist sicher auch der Tatsache geschuldet, dass v. Weizsäcker
keine klar umrissene „Schule“ gegründet hat und die
sprachlich und inhaltlich komplexen Texte eine anhaltende und intensive
Lektüre erfordern – in der modernen Arbeitswelt mit wenig
Zeitreserven eine schwer zu überwindende Hürde. Dennoch lohnt
sich das Wissen um das v. Weizsäcker’sche Denken ganz besonders
in Berufen, in denen Umgangsfragen, wie z. B. zwischen
Arzt/Therapeut und Patient, eine besondere Rolle spielen. Die
medizinische Anthropologie gibt dazu Hinweise und stellt Instrumente bereit, die
im Praxisalltag gewinnbringend Anwendung finden können.Um einen groben Überblick über die medizinische Anthropologie zu
erhalten, werden im folgenden Beitrag zunächst einige grundlegende
Aspekte von zwei Kernkonzepten, dem „Gestaltkreis“ und das
„pathische Pentagramm“, mit seinen fünf Kategorien des
„Dürfens“, „Müssens“,
„Wollens“, „Sollens“ und
„Könnens“ kurz erörtert. Anschließend
wird die in dieser Hinsicht ganzheitlich orientierte Bewegungstherapie am
Beispiel eines Patienten vorgestellt, der nach einem schweren
Schädelhirntrauma u. a. an Schwindelzuständen und
chronischen unspezifischen Kopfschmerzen leidet. Es wird deutlich, in welcher
Weise das Gespräch und die sich wechselseitig beeinflussenden
Begegnungen zwischen den Protagonisten eine entscheidende Rolle spielen.
