Ziel und Hintergrund. Mit der Umsetzung der EU-Richtlinie 98/8/ EG in ein nationales Biozidgesetz im Juni 2002 werden alle bioziden Produkte zukiinftig einem Zulassungsverfahren unterworfen. Voraussetzung einer Zulassung ist u.a., dass das Biozidprodukt keine sch/idlichen AusWirkungen auf Umwelt und Gesundheit hat. Fiir Holzschutzmittel ist dabei neben anderen Kriterien zu priifen, ob durch Auswaschung aus behandelten H61zern ein Eintrag in das Grundwasser erfolgen kann. Besonderer Augenmerk gilt dabei holzimpr/ignierenden Betrieben, die ihre behandelten H61zer auf unbefestigten Fl/ichen im Freiland lagern. Methoden. Basierend auf bestehenden Versionen des Versickerungsmodells PELMO wurde eine Version spezMl fiir die Absch/itzung des Versickerungsverhahens von Holzschutzmitteln unter Lagerpl/itzen von Holz-lmpr/ignierbetrieben in Deutschland entwickelt. Das stochastische Modell verarbeitet dabei 22 ausgew/ihlte Versickertmgsszenarien, die ihrerseits aus der Verkn/ipfung von Leitb6den aus 12 Bodenregionen und Wetterdaten yon 9 Klimastationen abgeleitet wurden. Diese Szenarien werden gewichtet mit den Standortdaten yon Holzimpragnierbetrieben in Deutschland. Als Ergebnis der Simulationsrechntmgen werden statistische Wahrscheinlichkeiten fiir die Konzentrationen im Sickerwasser unter Holzlagerpl~itzen in den yore Anwender ausgew~ihlten Regionen angegeben. Ergebnisse und Diskussion. Die Ergebnisprotokolle der Simulationsrechnungen beinhahen sowohl mittlere Sickerwasserkonzentrationen als auch frei w~ihlbare Perzennle (50-99), sowie die jeweils maximale Standortkortzentration. Die Ergebnisse k6nnen in Relation zur Gesamtfl~iche der Bundesrepublik, den jeweiligen forstlich genutzten Flfichenanteilen, oder zur Dichte yon Holzschutzmittel anwendenden Betrieben dargestellt werden. Neben der Konzentration der Ausgangssubstanz k6rmen auch fiir mehrere Abbauprodukte Konzentrationen in der Grundwasserneubildung berechnet werden.
