Sivas istasyonunda genel olarak artma eğilimi (9) Trend Analysis of the Central Anatolia Region Precipitation Data AbstractRecently, trend analysis of hyrological variables has came into prominence by reason of the global climate change. The trend of hydrological time series can be determined by using parametric and nonparametric tests. This research objective is to determine whether the statistical trend of monthly areal precipitation data which were obtained from 7 precipitation station in Central Anatolia Region of Turkey by using Mann-Kendall rank correlation. According to the results of Mann-Kendall Rank Correlation test, % 42.9 (36 count) tendency to decrease and also %57.2 ( 47 count) increase is determined. Whereas tendency to decrease isn't found statistically significant in the Central Anatolia Region for the significance level of 0.05 , tendency to increase %2.28(2 count) for the same significance level is observed. The Gauged precipitation changes are analysed at the 7 precipitation stations in Central Anatolia Region and especially it is determined tendecy to decrease at the station of Ankara (8 count),Nevşehir (6 count), Kırşehir(7count). The tendecy to increase is generally observed at the Sivas station and also significant increases have occured in August and October at Niğde station.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
