In face recognition, searching a person's face in the whole picture is generally too time-consuming to ensure highdetection accuracy. Objects similar to the human face or multi-view faces in low-resolution images may result in the failure of face recognition. To alleviate the above problems, a real-time face recognition method based on pre-identification and multiscale classification is proposed in this study. The face area is segmented based on the proportion of human faces in the pedestrian area to reduce the search range, and faces can be robustly detected in complicated scenarios such as heads moving frequently or with large angles. To accurately recognise small-scale faces, the authors propose the multi-scale and multi-channel shallow convolution network, which combines a multi-scale mechanism on the feature map with a multi-channel convolution network for real-time face recognition. It performs face matching only in the pre-identified face areas instead of the whole image, therefore it is more efficient. Experimental results showed that the proposed real-time face recognition method detects and recognises faces correctly, and outperforms the existing methods in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
Adipose tissues represent an important energy storage organ in animals and are the largest endocrine organ. It plays an important regulatory role in the pathogenesis of insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic syndrome. Adipose development is a complex biological process involving multiple key genes, signaling pathways, and non-coding RNAs, including microRNAs and circular RNAs. In this study, we characterized circITGB1 and named its host gene ITGB1, which is differentially expressed in sheep of different months based on sequencing data. We collated and analyzed the sequencing data to select miRNA-23a with strong binding to ARRB1. We found that miRNA-23a regulates the development and differentiation of sheep adipocytes by targeting ARRB1. As a competing endogenous RNA, circITGB1 overexpression effectively alleviated the inhibitory effect of miR-23a on ARRB1. Conclusively, we provide evidence that circITGB1 regulates the proliferation and differentiation of sheep adipocytes via the miR-23a/ARRB1 pathway. This study provides a scientific basis for further studies on adipose tissue development at the circRNA level.
Due to the deepening of aging and the change of family structure, the number of empty-nest elderly in my country has been increasing year by year, which is accompanied by serious pension problems. The community elderly care service has alleviated the old-age dilemma of the empty-nest elderly to a certain extent. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of the empty-nest elderly on the use of community elderly care services. Based on the 2018 China Aging Social Tracking Survey (CLASS) data, this paper uses Spearman correlation analysis and binary logistic model to explore the influencing factors and influencing mechanisms of empty nesters using community care services, and based on this, it is necessary to improve community care services. Provide reference and suggestions to improve the utilization rate of community elderly care services, in order to meet the elderly care needs of empty nesters and effectively alleviate the plight of empty nesters.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
