Application of additive manufacturing techniques in buildings Additive manufacturing with concrete-like materials in the construction area Using Fuzzy DEMATEL method in architecture Conclusion:According to the evaluation, since it is concluded that the form criterion comes right after the cost criterion, it is thought that it would be appropriate to use this construction system, especially by architects, who have form as priority. Flexibility criterion, which is one of the form sub criteria, is defined as being able to intervene in the design of the wall to be built during the production process, to be able to design walls in different shapes and sizes, in short, to offer design freedom. In this context, considering that one of the most important features of AM is manufacturing with the desired flexibility, it is predicted that it would be positive to use this technology in the context of building flexibility. As a result of the evaluation, the most important workmanship sub criterion was determined as industrial accidents. In this context, since the need for the number of workers is minimal with the use of AM, it is predicted that accidents will be prevented by using this production system. Considering that half of the construction errors are due to workmanship, it can be said that the use of the AM technique will prevent workmanship errors to a large extent.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
