Esse artigo apresenta uma análise estatística para determinar os erros máximos contidos na estimação dos parâmetros de linhas de transmissão obtidos a partir de medidas de tensão e corrente. As tensões e correntes nos sistemas elétricos são medidas por transformadores de instrumentos, que podem inserir erros nas medições a partir de sua classe de exatidão. Portanto, o objetivo desse trabalho é utilizar a teoria da propagação de erros para determinar os limites dos erros dos parâmetros elétricos das linhas de transmissão, com 95% de probabilidade de sucesso. Para obter os resultados, uma linha de transmissão foi simulada usando o software ATPDraw® e um algoritmo foi desenvolvido para estimação de parâmetros e determinação dos erros máximos.
