Diabetes adalah penyakit kronis yang terjadi ketika pankreas tidak menghasilkan cukup insulin atau ketika tubuh tidak dapat secara efektif menggunakan insulin yang dihasilkannya. Profil Kesehatan Indonesia Tahun 2019 menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penderita diabetes di wilayah Indonesia yaitu 3.9 juta orang dan untuk wilayah Sulawesi Utara penderita diabetes berjumlah 59.229 orang. Pasien diabetes mellitus di wilayah kerja puskesmas semakin meningkat pada tiga tahun terakhir yakni sejak 2018 hingga tahun 2020. Pada tahun 2020, jumlah pasien diabetes mellitus dua kali lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya dengan jumlah 85 orang. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor –faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian ulkus kaki diabetik pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM) di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Manganitu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei yang bersifat analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan besar sampe 41 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 48.8% responden mengalami ulkus kaki diabetik. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menggunakan chi square menunjukkan bahwa probabilitas ulkus kaki dengan umur p=0,139 (p>0,05), jenis kelamin p= 0,552 (p>0,05), lama menderita DM p= 0.595 (p>0,05), aktivitas fisik p=0,585 (p>0,05), obesitas p=0.001 (p<0,05), hipertensi p= 0.001 (p<0,05), riwayat ulkus kaki p= 0.000 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara umur, jenis kelamin, lama menderita DM, aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian ulkus kaki diabetic serta terdapat hubungan antara obesitas, hipertensi dan riwayat ulkus kaki diabetic dengan kejadian ulkus kaki diabetik. This research is an analytic survey research using a cross-sectional approach. Sampling method using purposive sampling with 41 respondents. The results showed that 48.8% of respondents had diabetic foot ulcers. Chi-square statistic result shows that the probability of foot ulcers with age age p = 0.139 (p> 0.05), gender p = 0.552 (p> 0.05), length of suffering from DM p = 0.595 (p> 0.05), physical activity p=0.585 (p>0.05), obesity p=0.001 (p<0.05), hypertension p= 0.001 (p<0.05), history of foot ulcers p= 0.000 (p<0.05). There is no correlation between age, gender, duration of diabetes mellitus, physical activity with the incidence of diabetic foot ulcers, and there is a correlation between obesity, hypertension, and a history of diabetic foot ulcers with the incidence of diabetic foot ulcers in the Managnitu health center.
Background: Teachers as educators have challenges in their student's learning during the transition from a pandemic to a COVID-19 endemic. Therefore, strategies and innovations are needed to improve effective education, especially in increasing concentration and body fitness. This is also a problem faced at SDN Inpres Enemawira, Tabukan Utara District, Sangihe Islands Regency. Based on this, the team aims to introduce body stretching training as a physical activity to support learning more effectively. Methods: This service uses an educational approach with 11 stages of health planning. The data collection technique is an observation method with a success indicator of 80% of students' ability in body stretching developing as expected. This program targets students in grades 4, 5, and 6, held on July 23, 2022, by the service team of the Nusa Utara State Polytechnic. Results: The results of this activity were as many as 18 students participated in the activity. Then the evaluation results showed that the completeness of 88.9% of participants had developed in following and repeating body stretching movements for three repetitions. Conclusion: The introduction of body stretching activities can support learning more effectively than before being introduced to body-trying activities. It can be seen by increasing students' concentration power and physical fitness.
Weight problems are often a concern for teenagers. Be it overweight or underweight. The GADIS (Balanced Diet Action) program counseling was carried out to increase knowledge about a healthy and balanced diet based on these problems. Including adolescents in the Sangihe Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province, based on the results of dietary observations carried out, namely, eating one time a day to lose weight. The activity was conducted on February 11, 2022, at SMKN 3 Tahuna, Sangihe Islands Regency. Activities are carried out in counseling with lecture methods, discussions, and demonstrations. Sixty-nine students attended the training. The action results in the form of an increase in knowledge of 8.9 through the consequences of pre-test and post-test assessments. This activity aims to increase understanding about regulating the balance of nutrients through the type and portion of each person's needs.
Program perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di Indonesia sudah berlangsung 26 tahun namun hanya 39,1% keluarga di Indonesia yang menerapkan PHBS. Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe yang berada paling utara Indonesia dan mayoritas masyarakatnya bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan hidup di wilayah pesisir pantai. Sekitar 45,4% penduduknya berpendidikan sekolah dasar dan capaian keluarga ber-PHBS tahun 2021 sebesar 18,3%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran permasalahan tidak tercapainya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada masyarakat pesisir. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei yang dilaksanakan di Kampung Likuang Kecamatan Tabukan Utara, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe dengan sampel 124 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purpossive sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Analisis data berupa analisis deskriptik dengan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian yaitu pengetahuan responden mengenai PHBS sebesar 57,3% tidak baik, sikap responden mengenai PHBS sebesar 58,1% tidak baik dan tindakan responden mengenai PHBS sebesar 51,6% baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa rendahnya pengetahuan PHBS pada indikator ASI Ekslusif, Air bersih, mencuci tangan, dan kebiasaan merokok. Rendahnya sikap PHBS pada indikator ASI ekslusif, makan sayur dan buah, aktivitas fisik, dan cuci tangan. Kemudian rendahnya tindakan PHBS pada indikator ASI ekslusif, cuci tangan, jamban sehat, dan pemantauan jentik nyamuk. Oleh karena itu, Kampung Likuang perlu dilakukan pembinaan PHBS. Hygiene and Healthy Lifestyle Behavior (HHLB) coaching programs in Indonesia have been going on for 26 years, but only 39.1% of families in Indonesia have implemented HHLB (PHBS). The Sangihe Island Regency is located in the northernmost part of Indonesia, and most of it is people who live as fishermen in coastal areas 45.4% of the population has an elementary school education, and the achievement of families with HHLB in 2021 is 18.3%. Based on it this study aims to describe the problem of unachieved hygiene and healthy living behavior in coastal communities. This research used descriptive research with a survey method in Likuang Village, North Tabukan District, Sangihe Island Regency, with a sample of 124 respondents. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis is in the form of descriptive analysis with frequency distribution. The study's results showed that the respondent's knowledge about HHLB was 57.3% not good, the respondent's attitude about HHLB PHBS was 58.1% not good, and the respondent's actions regarding HHLB were 51.6% good. It can be concluded that the common knowledge of HHLB is on the indicators of exclusive breastfeeding, hygiene water, washing hands, and smoking habit. Low HHLB attitude on indicators of exclusive breastfeeding, eating vegetables and fruit, physical activity, and washing hands. Then the low HHLB measures indicators of exclusive breastfeeding, hand washing, healthy latrine, and monitoring of mosquito larvae. Therefore, Likuang Village needs to be fostered by HHLB.
Sekolah merupakan komunitas kecil yang dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah memberikan efek tular informasi dari siswa kepada keluarga dan masyarakat pada umunya dalam upaya pengurangan risiko terhadap bencana alam dan non alam. SDN Inpres Beha Kecamatan Tabukan Utara mempunyai potensi menghadapi bencana alam dikarenakan letaknya tidak jauh dari gunung Awu yang merupakan gunung berapi aktif di Indonesia dan termasuk wilayah dengan intensitas gempa yang sering terjadi dan risiko bencana non alam berupa risiko tertular COVID-19. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi risiko bencana alam dan non alam pada siswa di SDN Inpres Beha. Kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa dukungan dan edukasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan hari Sabtu, 28 Agustus 2021 yang dihadiri 24 siswa dengan penerapan protokol pencegahan Covid-19. Dari hasil evaluasi peluang risiko bencana alam telah dikurangi baik itu yang bersumber geofisika dalam hal ini gempa bumi dan bencana non alam yang bersumber biologis seperti pandemic COVID-19 dibuktikan dengan tersedianya sarana pencegahan bencana alam dan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswanya dalam kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana alam. Target luaran yang dihasilkan pada kegiatan ini berupa publikasi media massa online SastalPos.com pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2021 dan artikel ilmiah di jurnal Tetengkorang serta video di youtube chanel P3M POLNUSTAR Schools are small communities that can be used as a place to transmit information from students to families and the community in general to reduce disaster risk. SDN Inpres Beha, Tabukan Utara District, has the potential to face disasters because it is located not far from Mount Awu, which is an active volcano in Indonesia and includes areas with frequent earthquakes. This activity aims to reduce natural disaster risk at SDN Inpres Beha and the risk of non-natural disasters in the form of the risk of contracting COVID-19. Activities carried out are in the form of support and education. This activity was held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, which was attended by 24 students with the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention protocol. From the results of the evaluation of disaster risk, both natural disasters such as earthquakes and non-natural disasters such as the COVID-19 pandemic have been proven by the availability of disaster prevention facilities and increasing students' knowledge and skills in disaster preparedness. The output targets for this activity are the publication of online mass media SastalPos.com on August 28, 2021, and scientific articles in the Tetengkorang journal and videos on the P3M POLNUSTAR YouTube channel
