A novel battery equalization scheme is presented to balance series-connected lithium-ion battery string. The proposed balancing circuit has simple structure which is easily used to design the bidirectional nondissipative equalizer for batter management system. A fuzzy-PI controller is design to control the balancing process of batteries, which improves the balancing speed and accuracy within a safe balancing range. Simulation and experiment results show the advantages of the proposed balancing circuit and control algorithm.
A high-order sliding mode control for DC-DC converter is presented. DC-DC converter with high-order sliding mode controller not only presents robustness against parameter uncertainties, load perturbation and fast dynamic response, but also reduces the chattering effect of traditional first-order sliding mode control. This paper introduces a finite states machine structure based high-order sliding mode control of DC-DC converter. The proposed controller can be designed just with the knowledge of rough parameter values of DC-DC converter. Simulation results are presented to verify the proposed method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
