Stunting is a nutritional problem in children characterized by the child’s height that is less than twice the standard deviation of the median standard from children growth that has been determined by the WHO. Stunting is influenced by many factors. If the conditional of these factors are known, it can be expected earlier whether a child is stunted or not. In this study, the prediction of stunting was carried out using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification method. SVM is a method to find the best hyperplane that can be used to separate two or more classes. In this study, the parameter of the SVM model that must be determined is the cost value and gamma. Based on the result of research using parameters cost=10 and gamma=5, the estimation result of the classification with 100% accuracy can be obtained.
Teacher performance is very important and is the spearhead of the world of education. If the teacher's performance is good, the quality of the school will also be good. This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and interpersonal communication either partially or simultaneously on the performance of teachers in elementary schools in Medang Kapai Dumai. This research was conducted in Dumai for elementary school teachers in Medang Kampai sub-district with a total sample of 95 people using a quantitative approach with a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire by conducting a trial first to see the validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed with multiple regression. The results showed that either partially or simultaneously, work motivation and personal communication had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. And the contribution to the two variables is 51.4% and the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Because the high and low teacher performance is determined by work motivation and interpersonal communication factors, it is expected that teachers always work together with school principals and fellow teachers, carrying out tasks in accordance with school programs so that goals can be achieved properly through optimal performance.
Each region in Indonesia has advantages and disadvantages, such as location, facilities, and infrastructure. These advantages and disadvantages give rise to social inequalities, especially in rural areas. To minimize social inequality, the government provides village funds that can be used to build facilities and infrastructure, training, and tourism development through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). The use of village fund assistance is discussed in village council meetings with the community. Some of the obstacles faced in the deliberations are the minimal attendance of participants, less than optimal participants getting information and giving opinions, and the corona virus-19 pandemic. Public concern about the COVID-19 pandemic has turned face-to-face meetings into virtual ones. In this study, public opinion obtained from village e-voting is processed using TF-IDF which aims to give weight to words as a reference in determining development priorities and empowerment needed by the community. After the system is completed, the system is tested with three characteristics of ISO 9126: usability, efficiency, and functional test. The results obtained from testing ISO 9126 are 86.5% for usability, 80% for efficiency, and 75.5% for functionality. TF-IDF generates requests for empowerment, improved facilities and infrastructure, and education. In the word cloud, empowerment becomes the most dominant, depicting it as the biggest. The results showed that the community's priorities and the results of the system were running well.
Primary education can build the students’ character through many kinds of learning sources. Learning sources is anything which can be used to optimalize the result of the study. It can be seen not only from the result but also the process of students’ interaction with many kinds of learning sources which can motivate them to study and increase their understanding in a certain lesson. The use of learning sources can be used as one of ways in developing the students’ character. There are several ways in using learning sources in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung. The focus of this thesis are (1) How to choose the use of learning sources in developing the students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung (2) How is the process in using learning sources in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung (3) How is the result of using learning sources in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung. The purpose of this study are to explain and describe (1) To know the way in choosing the use of learning sources in developing students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagungs (2) To know the process in using learning sources in developing the students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung (3) To know the result of using learning sources in developing the students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung. The method of this study is using qualitative study that is multisite. The locations are in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung. The data sources of this study are informant, event, location and document. The kinds of data are primary and secondary data. The technique of this study are individual site data and analysis and multisite data analysis while the data validation uses, credibility, dependability, transferability and information. From this study, the writer can conclude: (1) the way in choosing learning sources to develop the students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar and MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung is very comprehensive. It covers adaptation of students’ character application and the environment (2) the process of using learning sources in developing students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar has integrated in school regulation and then it’s socialized and implemented the schedule orderly along with organizer team and in MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung implement it through application which can be separated into several kinds, they are daily routine and organizing (3) the result of using learning sources in developing students’ character in MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar can be devided into religious character, discipline, caring to environment, responsible, creative, loving reading and standing alone, white in MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Wates Sumbergempol Tulungagung covers religious character, discipline, responsible, friendly, communicative, standing alone and honest.
