Bangladesh armed forces is a well known organization for its professionalism. Keeping forces goal 2030 in mind and to keep pace with the developed forces, Bangladesh armed forces is also upgrading itself in regards to men and equipments. As a part of this process, Bangladesh armed forces started inclusion of female officers since Jan 2000. Female officers are now getting involved in various operational and administrative activities in the units or bases along with their male colleagues. At the same time, many of the female officers are getting married with male officers, which gives them some sociological advantages. On the other hand, some challenges have also come up in dual military couples' life. The number of dual military couples are increasing day by day. Thereby, the challenges of dual military couples have become an organizational matter to address.
Today’s Children’s are the leaders of future. To become a leader, balanced quality care process is in paramount requirement for children in a family. Caring of children has various dimensions like physical growth, mental growth etcetera. The ultimate aim is to become a good leader. As a requirement all families do care their children to become a good leader. Where Military families were prominent in the race. Military families have norms and traditions which leads the children to grow up. Military environment had also a significant role in children’s growing process. After the birth of Bangladesh children of military family led the society in all sector namely Government job, social affairs, society development, nation building even in international forum. Obviously business sector was not untouched after nineteen eighties nationally and internationally. The reason of doing well in all sector was, proper molding of military children’s as a leader. Even currently most of the sector has quality leaders, who have military background but not leading as it was in early Eighties and Nineties. Being a developing countries Bangladesh is in need of quality leaders.
Since its inception, Bangladesh Army has undergone major transformations to keep pace with the modern armies of the world. Out of many changes, induction of female officers (FO) is one. FO were introduced in the army in 2001. So far, 23 long courses with female intake have already passed out from Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Apart from the professional changes, induction of female officers in the army has brought social changes as well. For social security and better mutual understanding, most of the FO are married to male officers (MO). As a result, number of military couples is increasing in Bangladesh Army. Again, with the induction of female soldiers in the army, marriage between male and female soldiers will also begin.
