This research appraises comparative analysis between single diode and double diode model of photovoltaic (PV) solar cells to enhance the conversion efficiency of power engendering PV solar systems. Single diode model is simple and easy to implement, whereas double diode model has better accuracy which acquiesces for more precise forecast of PV systems performance. Exploration is done on the basis of simulation results and MATLAB tool is used to serve this purpose. Simulations are performed by varying distinct model parameters such as solar irradiance, temperature, value of parasitic resistances, ideality factor of diode and number of series and parallel connected solar cells used to assemble PV array. Conspicuous demonstration is executed to analyze effects of these specifications on the efficiency curve and power vs. voltage output characteristics of PV cell for specified models.

For many reasons Bangladeshi people are now using renewable energy. So, solar energy is the best renewable energy till now, in respect of Bangladesh. So using of solar system is common nowadays. Bangladesh Government has taken some steps to make solar system compulsory. In this paper we discussed about importance of solar home system for domestic application. Here we will also discuss a safety device of solar home system. This paper also focused safety device with a practical experiment. We implement a low voltage alert circuit and low voltage indicator circuit for better performance of solar home system. Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have a high-power conversion efficiency that exceeds 20%, distinguishing them from other new photovoltaic technologies. The Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator (SCAPS-1D) was used in this study to investigate the effects of absorber layer properties on photovoltaic solar cell performance. SCAPS simulation software employs a numerical simulation technique to fully comprehend the principles of solar cell operation and predict the best power conversion efficiency. A three-layer solar cell model comprised of an Electron Transport Layer (ETL), a Hole Transport Layer (HTL), and a Perovskite Absorber Layer was used in this study. The variations in Voc, Jsc, FF, and PCE were investigated by varying the thickness of the absorber layer. The purpose of this research is to find the absorber layer thickness that produces the highest efficiency for two different ETM layer Zn0 and nO2. This simulation model can significantly aid in the fabrication of high-efficiency ZnO and SnO2-based PSCs.
