The investment in information system brings significant impacts on the banking industry because it plays a pivotal role in providing better services and competitive edges. This study evaluated satisfaction level and benefit of the usage of the banking system which is m-Banking using the IS Success Model approach developed by DeLone and McLane in 2003. The population in this study was customers of one of the largest banks in Indonesia, namely Bank Central Asia (BCA) with a sample size of 200 customers. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS. The results showed that the IS Success Model consisting of system quality, information quality and service quality has a significant impact on customer satisfaction in using BCA m-Banking. This study also validates the research conducted by DeLone and McLean (2003) in developing the IS Success Model as a measure of the quality and key to the success of an information system.
ICT in the Malaysian education system serves as a tool to accomplish the National Education Blueprint 2015-2025. Under this blueprint, privileged groups such as the aborigines or Malaysian aboriginals will be given equal opportunity in education. However, a specific classroom teaching method is required to maintain the aboriginal students' focus and attention on their learning experiences due to their unique paradigm of learning. This study used the Partial Least Square (PLS) and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) tool to examine the factors influencing personalised learning and digital self-learning ICT literacy module. It also measured the impact of personalised learning and digital ICT literacy module among secondary aboriginal students. This study involved 92 aboriginal students who participated in a transferable skills and ICT programme held in a public university in Malaysia. Results show that personalised learning positively supported the use of a digital ICT literacy module as a teaching and learning approach. Therefore, this study suggests that the digital ICT literacy module is an adaptive educational resource for personalised learning to meet the learning needs of aboriginal students.
Renewable energy based Community Learning Center (CLC) has an impact in the indigenous people's education development, especially those in remote areas. The aim of the program is to provide electricity in order to access the Internet and telecommunications, which can reduce the gap of education among the indigenous students in rural and urban areas. Issues discussed in this article are regarding the cause of drop out among the indigenous students in the formal education system. The focus of the discussion is on factors of environmental infrastructure that discourage them from improving and extending their studies to a higher level. The facilities for this program can also enhance the learning process in schools, families and communities. The discussion also focused on the indigenous people's willingness to accept and use the facilities provided for the CLC physical preparation. Some suggestions on the use of CLC to support Aboriginal's education system were also discussed.
