O presente trabalho tem como foco investigar como os alunos do Ensino Fundamental II e do Ensino Médio percebem as aulas de teatro na escola na relação com suas vidas. Para tanto foram associados dois temas: aulas de teatro não espetacular e corporeidade, procurando identificar como as experiências das aulas podem potencializar aprendizagem dos alunos. Participaram da pesquisa dezessete alunos de duas escolas particulares do município de Uberaba/MG com mais de um ano de vivência em práticas teatrais. A questão geradora da pesquisa foi: 1 – Qual o significado das aulas de teatro para a sua vida? Para a interpretação das respostas dos discentes foi utilizada a Técnica de Elaboração e Análise de Unidades de Significado proposta por Moreira, Simões e Porto (2005). Foram encontrados como principais resultados: as aulas suprem em parte a necessidade dos alunos se expressarem; há o desenvolvimento do sentimento de pertença social, bem como a possibilidade de promoção de um suporte emocional, percebimento dos potenciais corporais e criativos.
Esta reflexão no formato de ensaio tem como objetivo descrever como a não exposição de argumentos e pontos de vistas interferem na formação dos professores. O tema foi levantado pelos autores em 2020, ano em que a pandemia gerou a necessidade da continuidade dos estudos de forma virtual. Neste processo de reflexão sobre as formações iniciais dos professores e conflitos advindo da migração das aulas presenciais para ambiente virtual, foi percebido quantas camadas existem na não-argumentação dos alunos em aula, desde possíveis processos de formação com pouco estímulo à argumentação, até questões sociais e emocionais como o fato de não terem equipamentos adequados, vergonha da sua condição doméstica; a falta de pacote de internet necessário para o acesso; e dificuldade na gestão do tempo e ansiedade.
