Objetivo: Conhecer os fatores associados à ansiedade e depressão em pessoas idosas. Método: estudo descritivo, exploratório com abordagem qualitativa do tipo revisão integrativa. Tendo como bases de dados as plataformas Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciElo), Google Acadêmico entre outros, incluindo artigos entre 2012 a 2022. Resultados: Foram selecionados para este estudo sete artigos que se adequavam a temática e posterior ao filtro dos critérios de inclusão, todos os artigos tinham uma abordagem quantitativa e a grande maioria era descritiva, os artigos citaram como fatores associados à depressão e ansiedade o sexo, a idade e estado civil. Conclusão: A literatura é vasta quando trata a respeito de depressão, porém ainda escassa quando se trata de ansiedade. Compreendeu-se, que os sentimentos e fatores relacionados à ansiedade e depressão, assim como a importância de uma equipe apta a lidar com as questões relacionadas à saúde mental de idosos é fundamental.
O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar fatores associados aos óbitos por COVID-19 em gestantes brasileiras. Trata-se de um transversal, com 7296 gestantes brasileiras com diagnóstico de COVID-19 no ano de 2021. Os dados foram coletados do sistema de informação em saúde OPEN DATASUS. O desfecho estudado foi óbito, e as covariáveis foram referentes a questões sociodemográficas e epidemiológicas. Foi realizada análise de regressão logística, com estimativa de odds ratio (OR) e seus respectivos intervalos de confiança de 95% (IC95%), com nível de significância de 5%. Os fatores associados ao óbito em gestantes foram: residir na região nordeste (OR = 1,37; IC95% 1,03 – 1,82), ter alguma comorbidade (OR = 1,80; IC95% 1,48 – 2,21), internação em UTI (OR = 2,56; IC95% 1,99 – 3,30) e ter feito uso de suporte ventilatório invasivo (OR = 18,73; IC95% 12,89 – 27,21). Deve-se buscar e aplicar serviços de saúde integrais em seus recursos físicos e humanos para uma assistência de qualidade e eficiente com maior atenção ao perfil de gestantes encontrado.
Objetivo: Analisar a taxa de mortalidade hospitalar (TMH) por Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave pela COVID-19, na faixa etária de 0-19 anos (subdividida em seis grupos), no Brasil, segundo ano de ocorrência e Região Metropolitana e Interior. Métodos: Estudo ecológico com dados públicos do Sistema de Vigilância Epidemiológica SIVEP-Gripe. Utilizou-se o software de acesso livre R versão 4.0.4. O teste do Qui-quadrado de Pearson foi realizado para avaliar as diferenças da TMH das variáveis do estudo, considerando nível de significância de 5%. Resultados: As maiores TMH foram encontradas naqueles que utilizaram suporte ventilatório invasivo, chegando a dobrar em 2021 no interior na faixa etária de 6 a 9 anos. A presença de fator de risco mostrou-se importante na TMH independentemente da localidade. O interior apresentou maiores TMH em relação a região metropolitana. Conclusão: Destaca-se as altas TMH, sendo exponenciais nos interiores. Estudos que avaliam diferentes populações em localidades diversas podem servir de subsídio para ações de promoção e prevenção direcionados e planos de contingência.
