The research have been conducted to determine the bioenergy alteration in white rat (Rattus Norvegicus) due to needle stimulation in acupuncture point. Twenty eight male white rat were divided randomly to 4 groups. Group 1 was untreated (control). Group 2 was treated by acupuncture with 15 Hz frequency, 10 minutes, for 5 days at Zusanli (SP 36) point. Group 3 was treated by acupuncture with 15 Hz frequency, 10 minutes, for 5 days at combination Zusanli (SP 36) points – Sanyinjiao (SP 6) point. Group 4 was treated by ephedrin’s oral consumtion for 5 days in 3 mg/kg weight and the parameter that was used is a maximum travel time of the white rat in the tredmill’s trajectory until it reaches the point of exhaustion before and after treatment. The addition of travel time is comparable with the addition of bioenergy, so bioenergy changes in group 2 and 3 can be calculated. The result of multiple comparative analysis with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) of the control group againts ST 36 group indicate a significant difference (p=0,006), control group againts group combination ST 36 – SP 6 indicate a significant difference (p=0,023) and control group againts ephedrin’s oral consumption group not indicate a significant difference (p=0,772). Electroacupuncture at Zusanli (SP 36) point and combination Zusanli (SP 36) points – Sanyinjiao (SP 6) point can affect changes of bioenergy.
Background: Allergic rhinitis is an inflammatory disease of the nasal mucosa mediated by IgE (immunoglobulin E) with the main mediator histamine. Rhinitis in the science of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is called Bi Yuan (influenza) and Bi Zhi (nasal congestion). Cases of allergic rhinitis experienced by patients are complaints of repeated sneezing up to 10 times in the morning with rhinorrhea (runny nose). In herbal therapy, patients are given herbal legundi (Vitex trifolia) and ginger (Curcuma xanthorrhiza). Results: The active compounds viteosin-A, viteksikarpin, and vitetrifolin-E which can inhibit releasing histamine and curcumin as anti-inflammatory have an effect on sneezing in allergic rhinitis. In handling allergic rhinitis, acupuncture therapy given 12 times, once every two days. Herbal therapy given for 14 times, taken every 2 days interval, 3 times a day with a dose of 5.2 grams of legundi and 4.2 grams of ginger. This therapy overcome the symptoms of sneezing and rhinorrhea in allergic rhinitis. Conclusion: Acupuncture and herbal therapy can be used to overcome sneezing and rhinorrhea in allergic rhinitis.

The high number of patients who come for ear therapy with massage skills, the P3T Center intends to carry out an observational screening of ear therapy. This screening aims to find out how the diagnostic method and application of ear therapy with massage skills and the benefits of ear therapy to overcome the problem of hearing loss (hearing impairment). This screening design uses an observational method in which the researcher makes observations and interviews with respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out by looking at the results of the examination of respondents' hearing tests and the results of interviews with respondents. Patient therapy results in 18 people (60%) no progress or the same as the original condition. this shows that therapy can be said to be ineffective in curing ear disorders. The results of the audiometry examination of the right and left ear stated that none of the patients was normal. Even though there are patients who claim to be able to hear loud sounds in the questionnaire, it is not supported by audiometry results. So it can be concluded that ear therapy with massage skills has no impact on patients suffering from hearing loss.
