Studies have been made in heterogeneous hydrogenations on the possible enantioselective effects of precursors of binol-phospates, which proved to be active and effective chiral ligands in homogeneous catalysis. It was to find out, whether a modifier with axial chirality could be used in heterogeneous hydrogenations if it meets certain structural requirements. Our results show that while the conversions reach 100%, the enantiodifferentiation was negligible.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
