A microrregião do Brejo Paraibano é uma área promissora na produção de pimenta-do-reino (Piper nigrum L.), com climas e solos propícios para a produção. No entanto, a utilização de microrganismos eficientes e composto orgânico, proporciona melhorias na qualidade do solo e no desenvolvimento vegetativo para a produção das mudas. Com isso, o objetivo foi avaliar a produção de mudas de pimenta-do-reino em função de diferentes concentrações de composto orgânico e aplicação de microrganismos eficientes e realizar a distribuição das mudas, enriquecendo os sistemas produtivos dos pipericultores familiares. O trabalho foi conduzido por 60 dias no viveiro de mudas do setor de agricultura da UFPB, utilizando estacas submetidas a estimulante de enraizamento a base de tiririca. Utilizou-se delineamento inteiramente casualizado (DIC), com esquema fatorial 4x2 (4 concentrações de composto orgânico- 0%, 25%, 50% e 75% e 2 aplicações de microrganismos eficientes), com 6 repetições. Foram avaliados os parâmetros de crescimento: quantidade de brotos; quantidade de folhas; tamanho de folha e largura da folha. O composto orgânico aplicado para a produção de mudas de pimenta-do-reino acima de 75% prejudica na quantidade de folhas. A distribuição de mudas de pimenta-do-reino, proporciona agrobiodiversidade local e caminhos para a transição agroecológica e produção integrada.
