ZusammenfassungDie Einleitung erläutert Begrifflichkeit und Fragestellung der im Band versammelten Beiträge zu Nachkriegsromanen aus der Bundesrepublik und der DDR, Österreich und der Schweiz. Der erste Teil gibt einen Überblick über Modellierungen und Typologien „unzuverlässigen Erzählens“ und umreißt das Verständnis, in dem die vorliegenden Aufsätze den Begriff als Analysekategorie und heuristisches Konzept nutzen. Der zweite Abschnitt ist dem Versuch gewidmet, die literarhistorische Periode der „Nachkriegszeit“ als (Mikro-)Epoche zu charakterisieren. Abgeschlossen wird die Einleitung in einem kurzen dritten Teil durch die skizzenhaft entwickelte These, dass narrative Unzuverlässigkeit hinreichend ist, um einen Text als eine Form literarischer Rede auszuweisen.
