This work is focused on the analysis of the interconnections between Latin American political ecology and socio-environmental movements in Ecuador. Specifically, through the practices of CONAIE (Confederación de las Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador), it will analyzed the importance of indigenous movements in the political dynamics of the Country and the socio-ecological theories and practices that the indigenous confederation has introduced into the national public debate.
