In the new global economy, corporate social responsibility has become a central issue of most of the government but a number of cases of business owners being socially irresponsible are dramatically increasing. Therefore, this study has thoroughly examined most contributing factor of corporate social responsibility adoption among SMEs. It is undeniable, that the contributions of SMEs toward the corporate social responsibility are increasing in the society along with the number of SMEs gradually increase in the market and play a significant role in the corporate social responsibility to improve the economic and social development of the nation. The purpose of this research is to examine further in-depth the relevant factors that influence the managers of SMEs in the adoption of corporate social responsibility practices. Quantitative data were collected using the self-administered questionnaire that was distributed to a sample of 384 respondents. In this study, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regressions were used to test the importance of all of the four independent variables which are profit maximization, philanthropy responsibility, external pressure, and moral responsibility. The results indicated that all of the tested motivational factors that influence adoption of corporate social responsibility have significant association with corporate social responsibility of SMEs. Therefore, it can be concluded that the result may provide some insight to business leaders with more practical perspectives about motivational factors of corporate social responsibility in Malaysia.
Based on the recent past studies (Ahmad & Omar, 2015; Ke & Deng, 2018; Ghani, Abdullah & Allah, 2018), there are an increasing attention from the researchers to examine the workplace spirituality in the organization. This research study seeked to study the influences of workplace spirituality (Allen & Meyer , 2000) on organizational commitments among university members in Malaysia. Data of 240 responses were collected and analyzed via partial least square structural equation modelling to examine both the measurement and structural model. It is significantly accentuated that workplace spirituality influences the three dimensions of organizational commitment. From this empirical findings, it strongly suggested that the university shold find ways to embded this workplace spirityality into university members’ performance in order to enhance the loyalty and employee engagement with the university (Alas & Mousa, 2016).
Today, the ever-changing technology development is bringing an impact to the Malaysian retail industry. Smart Retail Technology is one of the outcomes of Industry Revolution 4.0 to deepen integration between digital and physical characteristics that can serve extraordinary shopping experiences in brick-and-mortar stores. Smart retail technology is attaining greater attention in the information system literature. In this study, the researchers aimed to investigate the relationships between perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived enjoyment (PE), perceived risk (PR), attitudes (ATD) and behavioral intentions towards smart retail technology (BI). The 170 respondents were collected through an online survey and processed in the PLS-SEM data analysis. The results indicated that perceived ease of use is the main variable influencing people's acceptance of SRT, followed by perceived enjoyment. However, perceived usefulness and perceived risk performed insignificant roles to link with attitudes and behavioral intentions towards SRT. This study provided some insightful implications for both academicians and practitioners to understand the current situation of smart retail technology in developing countries, especially Malaysia.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of training on the performance of women’s microenterprises in Malaysia’s northern states that are members of the microfinance organisation Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia. A model has been created based on comprehensive literature studies. There have been no conclusive conclusions about the effect of training on the success of women’s microenterprises based on prior studies. The originality of this research originates from the significance of information and knowledge for any microentrepreneur or microfinance institution considering the impact of training on performance. This article undoubtedly added to the amount of knowledge about women’s business performance. The data for this study were gathered by a cross-sectional survey of 221 female micro-enterprises using stratified random sampling. The data are examined using descriptive statistics and regression analysis, which are performed using SPSS and SmartPLS. This study revealed that training has a positive and significant effect on the performance of women microenterprises owned and managed by women entrepreneurs in the Northern States of Malaysia. In order to improve the socio-economic condition of low-income women micro-entrepreneurs and their families, development programmes and policies should place a strong emphasis on enhancing entrepreneurs’ ability to recognize and take advantage of knowledge-generating opportunities and improve their ability to generate income. Micro-enterprises run by women must be recognised for the valuable contribution they make in reducing poverty as well as improving their own performance, which calls for building up relational and commitment skills among the women who run them.

The study examined the relationship between environmental attitude, environmental subjective norm, environmental perceived behavioural control, and school headteachers' environmental responsive behaviour. The population of the study consists of primary school headteachers in the northern region of Malaysia who are attached to the Ministry of Education (MoE), Malaysia. An online survey was used to collect the data of the study from 167 sampled respondents. While Theory of planned behaviour underpinned the study, the researcher employed explanatory, descriptive, and hypothesis testing quantitative strategies to explain the relationship. Smart PLS 3.0 and SPSS 21 were equally used to analyse the data. The result of the data analysis revealed that environmental attitude, environmental subjective norm, and environmental perceived behavioural control significantly influence school headteachers' environmental responsive behaviour.
