O presente estudo busca discutir os aspectos relacionados ao comprometimento da saúde mental de gestantes adolescentes. Trata-se de um estudo de Revisão Integrativa da Literatura, quanto ao impacto da gestação na saúde mental de adolescentes. A coleta de dados foi realizada na Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde (BVS), através dos descritores: Gravidez na Adolescência, Depressão, Ansiedade, Assistência à Saúde Mental e Gravidez. A busca dos artigos utilizando os descritores estabelecidos, totalizou em 2314 artigos, após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão restaram 618 artigos. Todos os 618 artigos tiveram seus títulos e resumos avaliados e 16 artigos foram pré-selecionados para serem lidos de forma minuciosa. Após a leitura, 8 artigos foram selecionados, uma vez que atenderam a todos os critérios para inclusão no artigo. Frente aos aspectos relacionados à gravidez na adolescência é possível verificar que diversos fatores interferem diretamente na saúde mental das gestantes adolescentes, potencializando quadros de depressão e ansiedade além de aumentar os riscos de suicídio durante essa fase. Em suma, fatores como pobreza, isolamento social, violência por parceiro íntimo, rejeição familiar, e doenças crônicas contribuem para o desenvolvimento de doença mental entre as gestantes. Vale salientar a relação gravidez e educação associando a descontinuidade da vida escolar com impactos significativos para toda a vida destas jovens.
