Esta pesquisa objetivou conhecer a epidemiologia dos hábitos sexuais e de anticoncepção de jovens de uma universidade do Distrito Federal. Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico de caráter descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, sendo um levantamento, entre os anos de 2020 e 2021, com análise de questionários estruturados auto aplicáveis sobre os efeitos do uso de métodos contraceptivos na sexualidade. As variáveis investigadas foram: idade, sexo, escolaridade, uso e conhecimento sobre os contraceptivos, hábitos sexuais, opiniões sobre sexualidade. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 252 alunos do Centro Universitário de Brasília (UniCEUB) que assinaram o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido que já tiveram a sexarca. A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética sob nº 4.373.886. Em relação à primeira relação sexual, 56% dos entrevistados revelaram ter sido após os 18 anos e 20% não fez uso de métodos contraceptivos, já dos que tiveram a relação antes dos 18 anos (44%), 28,5% não fizeram uso de tais métodos nesta relação. Dos entrevistados, 69% referiu usar sempre, 21,8% na maioria das vezes, 2% raramente e 7,2% não faz. Assim, 43,3% usam preservativos, 21,8% contraceptivos orais e 19% dupla proteção. Dos que usam preservativos de barreira, apenas 19% fazem uso durante toda a relação sexual. 49,2% dos estudantes acreditam que o uso de métodos de barreira atrapalha no prazer sexual e 26,6% referem que o uso destes prejudicam a naturalidade e espontaneidade do ato. Tratando-se de parceiros fixos, 58,3% não faz uso de métodos que previnem Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis, desses, apenas 29,2% interrompem após realização de exames. A maior parte dos entrevistados (79,4%) recebeu orientações sobre saúde sexual e planejamento familiar, sendo que 6,7% obtiveram estas informações apenas após a 1ª relação. Ademais, a maior parte obteve tais orientações pelas escolas (70,2%), 52,9% dos pais e apenas 22,2% de serviços de saúde. A maior parte dos estudantes (96%) concorda que a responsabilidade pelo uso de contraceptivos deve ser das duas pessoas. Dentre os entrevistados, 76,2% tem um plano de vida, desses 2% não fez uso de contraceptivos na primeira relação e, dos que não tem tal plano, 11% não fizeram uso de anticoncepção. Os resultados demonstram que uma proporção alta dos estudantes teve a primeira relação sexual com menos de 18 anos, além da baixa prevalência do uso correto de métodos anticoncepcionais e proteção contra ISTs. Assim, os achados enfatizam a necessidade da orientação sobre saúde sexual e planejamento familiar com objetivo primário prevenir a gravidez indesejada e doenças sexualmente transmissíveis. Deve-se incentivar essa abordagem em instituições de ensino e serviços de saúde, de forma a proteger a saúde e incentivar o planejamento de vida dos estudantes.

Descrever as características clinicas, endoscópicas e abordagem terapêutica de crianças com o diagnóstico de Aspiração de Corpo Estranho (ACE) atendidos na Emergência da Broncoesofagologia -HBDF. Métodos:Estudo descritivo e retrospectivo, baseado em prontuários de pacientes com ACE atendidos na Emergência da Broncoesofagologia-HBDF( janeiro de 2012 a janeiro de 2015). Foram consideradas crianças neste estudo pacientes com idade < 18 anos. Foram analisadas as variavéis: sexo, idade, características do corpo estranho(CE) aspirado(tipo e localização), clínica, radiologia, tratamento, complicações e mortalidade.Resultados: 51 pacientes tiveram o diagnóstico de ACE. 45(88,2%) com idade < 18 anos (crianças). Entre as crianças, a ACE predominou no sexo masculino (73,3%) e na faixa etária de 1-3 anos (53,3%). Sementes foram os CE mais aspirados (40%). Houve predomínio da ACE na arvore brônquica direita (46,4%). Tosse e dispnéia após engasgo foram as queixas principais. Dezoito (40%) possuiam CE radiopacos ao Rx-tórax. A broncoscopia rígida sob anestesia geral foi utilizada em 95,5%. Dois pacientes necessitaram de UTI devido insuficiência respiratória aguda pela ACE e dois por desconforto respiratório secundário à laringoespasmo ou edema glótico-subglótico pós-procedimento. Cinco(11,1%) menores possuiam pneumonia e um bronquiectasias como complicação pelo CE na arvore traqueobrônquica. Não houve óbito e procedimento cirúrgico aberto para remoção do CE.Conclusões: ACE foi um acidente predominante nos pacientes pediátricos ( principalmente meninos com idade entre 1-3 anos). Sementes foram os CE mais aspirados. Houve predominância da ACE na arvore brônquica direita. A broncoscopia mostrou-se segura e eficaz no tratamento.
