It appears also that the separable representation provides a systematic overestimation of activity. These mults have been related to their chemical causes, and are expected to apply as well to other reacting systems exhibiting similar chemical behavior. Finally, TPD has proven to be a suitable technique for studying the separability of reaction-deactivation kinetics.
