A 12-year-old castrated male Japanese domestic cat was presented for evaluation of frequent seizures accompanied by tonic convulsion. MRI examination revealed a space-occupying lesion with a clear boundary in the area from the temporal to occipital region of the left cerebral hemisphere. The intracranial mass was surgically removed, and was histologically diagnosed for the treatment of cranial meningioma in cats by Gordon, L. E. et al5). This was a case report of a cat with intracranial meningioma, in which seizure disappeared after surgical removal of intracranial menigioma. A 13-year-old, male Shih tzu dog presented with multiple demarcated papules and nodules around the light axilla. Histopathological examination revealed neoplastic proliferation of atypical cells with sebaceous differentiation, which showed invasion into the subcutis and lymphatics. These findings were consistent with sebaceous carcinoma, and pulmonary metastasis was indicated by chest X-ray examination. The dog died 2 months later, and an autopsy confirmed pulmonary metastasis of sebaceous carcinoma.
