Résumé Le bassin du Bas-Guadalentm, dans le sud-est de l'Espagne, est un fossé tectonique actif dont le profil longitudinal est irrégulier. Des seuils, comme celui de Librilla, ont piégé les dépôts apportés par les torrents (ramblas) de l'Algeciras et du Librilla, affluents de rive gauche du Guadalentin. Mis en place entre 6500 BP et 2500 BP, ces sédiments forment un glacis d'accumulation polygénique au débouché de la cluse du Librilla et de celle de l'Algeciras. Emboîtée dans ce glacis, une terrasse alluviale a été élaborée au "Petit Âge Glaciaire" par les deux torrents. Les faciès sédimentaires de l'ensemble des dépôts, les nombreux marqueurs qu'ils renferment (biorestes, grains de pollens, artefacts archéologiques), la datation radiocarbone des charbons de bois ont permis d'étudier les variations paléoenvironnementales à l'Holocène d'une région fortement marquée par un climat méditerranéen semi-aride.
