ABSTRACT LITERATURE AND TEACHER TRAINING: PRESENT!!!This paper, based on Iser´s representations, a "how to" according to the literary writing, that he discusses, shares experiences, ideas and constitutive practices of teacher training of teachers in service, which elected, among other artifacts, the language, the arts and the technologies as threads that have woven the dialogues around learning and teaching. It recognizes the issue of literature and teaching as a relationship that is more controversial than peaceful, and it shows how literary reading led teachers to discover authors and now to include literature as enhancement of their teaching practices. The writings from various literary genres were the foundation for building the memorial of the training course, activity inherent to the course.
