Resumen Este texto presenta el número dedicado al arte y las redes sociales explorando los diferentes aspectos de la (in)articulación entre la sociología del arte y el análisis de redes sociales. Aún cuando las investigaciones fundadoras en el campo de la sociología del arte atribuyen un lugar central a las interacciones y relaciones entre los distintos actores que estructuran este "campo" o "mundo social", las investigaciones que utilizan las herramientas del análisis de redes sociales son casi inexistentes. Al contrario, el análisis de redes sociales no ha prestado atención más que someramente a las actividades artísticas. Algunos elementos, como lo mostramos en el artículo, sugieren que hubiera sido posible un encuentro, a pesar de todo. Avanzamos la hipótesis de que esta ignorancia mutua es, en parte, debida a las aproximaciones metodológicas privilegiadas por cada uno de estos campos de investigación. Por otra parte, actualmente se esbozan acercamientos tanto por parte del mundo del arte como por parte del mundo científico. En un contexto de interés creciente y generalizado por las redes sociales, los artistas se apropian del interés heurístico de los grafos mientras que los investigadores trabajan expresamente la dimensión estética de las visualizaciones. En el cruce de estos dos universos emergen obras que articulan las problemáticas sociológicas y utilizan las técnicas de análisis de redes sociales. Con un objetivo paralelo, este número propone artículos de jóvenes investigadores que demuestran empíricamente la articulación fértil entre sociología del arte y análisis de redes sociales.

Résumé À travers un siècle de relations entre art et territoire en région Midi-Pyrénées, l’article s’intéresse à la façon dont les acteurs, collectifs et individuels, ont érigé en ressources les notions de territoire et d’identité. Abordée de façon chronologique, la première partie de l’article retrace les périodes au cours desquelles le mouvement régionaliste et les milieux artistiques se sont retrouvés pour porter la revendication d’une identité spécifique. La seconde partie cherche à dépasser les circonstances propres à chacun des moments de l’histoire régionale et dégage les composantes humaines et discursives — les acteurs, le discours identitaire, le « retard » — et les variantes qu’elles enregistrent.
La réorganisation du système local d'enseignement supérieur au début du siècle est l'occasion d'analyser ce qui peut se jouer entre la Ville et l'Université dans un contexte où l'État laisse une marge importante d'autonomie aux universités et autorise les villes à y financer de nouveaux enseignements. On montre comment la question universitaire est abordée par les différents acteurs de la Ville et pourquoi, à Toulouse en particulier, cette ouverture de l'Université aux initiatives locales s'est traduite par un essor considérable de l'enseignement scientifique et technique.
