The south-central region of Chihuahua State has 150 transformation industries of timber forest resources, these industries dedicate to produce different types of timber furniture, which generates a huge amount of organic scraps that are deposited mostly in the intermunicipal landfill that covers 5 municipalities. Within the field research, it was detected that only one of all companies produces 20 tons of scrap per week. Hence, it is considered ground-breaking developing a model to produce sawdust blocks destined to build sustainable houses and buildings. In order to frame this research, it was also analyzed the problem of September 19th, 2017 earthquakes, presented in the following states of the Mexican Republic, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Puebla, Morelos and Mexico City, where 111,668 houses and buildings had a partial damage and 60,302 had a total damage, in other words, there were 171,990 affected houses and buildings. The prototype’s construction was developed by performing destructives and mechanical resistance tests, inside the testing laboratory of a social enterprise, La Cosa in Delicias City, a town of Chihuahua State, which is accredited by the EMA (Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación).
The South-Central Region of Chihuahua is a highly agricultural and livestock area. It has 41,900 hectares of non-timber forest resource (oregano) (Alarcón, 2005), which is processed and generates waste up to 1,470.17 tons per season cycle, which do not take advantage of its economic and nutritional benefit. The niche of opportunity was born here where it was found that the oregano residue contains 16.44% of protein per 100 g according to studies at the Center for Research in Food and Development of Delicias (CIAD), attached to CONACYT, and in the laboratory of the company Alimentos Concentrados de Delicias. The proportion that is generated from this waste is very rich, it is considered as an area of commercialization opportunity. In this region there are 257 potential clients according to SAGARPA (2017) dedicated to raising cattle. As quoted by Almeida G, (DIGAL 2018) specified that 8363 livestock production units participate directly in the dairy activity with a daily volume of 3,000,000 liters of milk. Of the five dairy basins in the state, Delicias is the most important, therefore, there is the opportunity to establish the NUTRIOREG company as a producer of concentrated feed supplement for livestock.
In terms of maintenance talk of Mexico is of great importance because there is plenty of resources in order to be transformed, in the south central region of the state of Chihuahua, the municipality of Delicias, belongs to this area within its main activities are those related to the agriculture, livestock industries, the transformation of timber resources, as well as those relating to the derived from dairy products, within their major challenges is to eficientisar their production processes in order to prolong the life of the instruments, machinery and equipment of work of processing industries and processing of the different productive areas. To facilitate the tasks and quality service to consumers of these industries, with the application of techniques of Total Productive Maintenance. This through proper maintenance supported in a program adapted to the needs of production and wear of the systems used frequently, thus reducing the costs of same, corrections and contingency plans, ensuring the safety of workers and the proper functioning of the machinery. It is necessary to implement these measures, to not only keep the labor personnel safe, but also to provide a reduction of time and costs to firms, resulting in a better job available to customers, seen this by way of quality, delivery and service as well, using a system with improvements and quality from the inside to the outside, with the methodology of process engineering.
It is an unprecedented process of extracting oil from the oregano plant (Lippia graveolens), from the distillation dry by the coil method. With innovation, a purer oil will be obtained by increasing the essences in thymol and carvacrol counteracting all possible moisture generated by the process. In addition to saving inputs for the extraction of volatile essences, which give it quality and purity, directly impacting the sale price. The objective that coreganoil offers to the market is the high purity of the oil extracted from the oregano plant, thanks to the new unprecedented dry distillation process using the coil method, resulting in an oregano oil with higher percentages of thymol and carvacrol, obtaining a purer oil. The methodological extraction procedure of this innovation is dry distillation by the coil method, which will allow the extraction process to be effective with a higher concentration of its physicochemical properties, giving it more added value. Coreganoil's contribution in obtaining it is a project that has the presence of a potential market in the south central region of the state of Chihuahua where there are 14,805 potential clients according to INEGI (2020). Potential clients for this project are mostly people of either sex dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry, culinary arts, farmers and fragrance industry and the general public.
