El presente artículo tiene por objetivo, comprender las prácticas y saberes pedagógicos de las Madres Comunitarias (MC) a partir de sus saberes y prácticas, en un contexto rural de vulnerabilidad social. Se abordan categorías de conocimiento y experiencias cotidianas que se configuran en el marco de la educación inicial en Colombia, a partir de la labor de las MC en relación con pedagogía en educación inicial. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa con un diseño de investigación acción, utilizando la entrevista y el grupo focal. Las participantes del estudio fueron 7 madres comunitarias rurales del municipio Paya Boyacá- Colombia. Los resultados presentan las categorías de análisis que intervienen para la pedagogía del enfoque de educación inicial y que van en coherencia en la praxis de las MC. Encontrando barreras en cuanto al sentido y la apropiación del concepto en educación inicial a favor del desarrollo integral de los niños y niñas en contextos rurales. Las prácticas pedagógicas de las MC, se gestan desde su saber empírico, pero con intenciones de reflexión para la transformación. Se concluye que los procesos de cualificación a MC se deben orientar con un sentido holístico, en relación con la práctica pedagógica, las teorías y conceptualización en educación inicial.
Los traumas penetrantes en niños son habituales pero no siempre evolucionan a entidades como artritis séptica o infecciones en piel y partes blandas. Pantoea agglomerans es un bacilo gram negativo que pertenece a la familia Enterobacteriaceae y se comporta como un patógeno oportunista en pacientes inmunodeprimidos. Sin embargo existen reportes en la literatura que asocian este microorganismo a infecciones por traumatismos con espinas de plantas y astillas en pacientes inmunocompetentes. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar dos casos clínicos para agregar evidencia a la asociación de Pantoea agglomerans con las infecciones en piel y partes blandas y artritis séptica por traumas accidentales penetrantes con plantas en pediatría. Las cepas fueron identificadas utilizando el sistema MALDI-TOF MS. Las susceptibilidades antibióticas fueron evaluadas con el sistema VITEK 2C. Concluimos que la comunicación equipo médico-laboratorio es de suma importancia para orientar la búsqueda bacteriológica y jerarquizar los aislamientos.
En el presente artículo describimos el proceso de transformación pedagógica que se está realizando en el CEIP Alejandro Rubio de Guadalix de la Sierra, a través de la creación del Aula del Futuro y teniendo como horizonte los principios DUA. Partiendo del análisis de nuestro contexto hemos descrito los hitos más significativos que están promoviendo el cambio al que queremos llegar para tener un centro que dé respuesta a las necesidades del alumnado y promueva en el profesorado desarrollo profesional docente acorde a los retos educativos del siglo XXI. El proceso ha implicado llevar a cabo, por parte del Equipo directivo, un liderazgo pedagógico distributivo, con el objetivo de impulsar la labor de los órganos de coordinación docente, consensuando acuerdos curriculares y metodológicos. Para ello, se ha contado con el apoyo y asesoramiento de una Inspección Educativa que guía y facilita. Todo ello ha dado lugar a propuestas de aprendizaje competencial con distintos niveles de desempeño a través de situaciones de aprendizaje en el Aula del Futuro. Pretendemos generalizar la metodología de este espacio a las aulas ordinarias. Esta dinámica de trabajo, más colegiada y de centro, nos tiene inmersos en un ambiente de ilusión y entusiasmo que nos impulsa para que la transformación del centro sea una realidad.
