Neste relato são apresentadas ações relacionadas à execução do projeto de extensão “Promoção de ações inclusivas para pessoas com deficiência no Campus Erechim do IFRS”, que se desenvolveu embasado na interação com entidades sociais inseridas na comunidade local, promovendo a socialização de conhecimentos na área da inclusão. O projeto envolveu professores, alunos, servidores e comunidade externa, sendo desenvolvido de forma interdisciplinar junto às áreas de conhecimento dos cursos de Moda e Vestuário e de EngenhariaMecânica que possibilitaram a elaboração de material pedagógico, realização de palestras, oficinas e minicursos visando a integração das ações desenvolvidas com as entidades. Observou-se que a inclusão escolar está relacionada ao processo de democratização da escola envolvida na comunidade a qual está inserida. Dessa forma, o NAPNE - Núcleo de Atendimento às pessoas com Necessidades Específicas do Campus Erechim, desenvolveu ações significativas que envolvessem estes indivíduos difundindo informações, ideias, conceitos, práticas e conhecimentos para contribuir com a cultura de respeito à diversidade em nosso sistema educacional promovendo atitudes propícias à inclusão social.
Este artigo aborda as relações entre a corrupção e seus efeitos diretos na democracia brasileira. Discute-se o conceito de democracia no Brasil após o processo de redemocratização posterior à aprovação da constituição de 1988, abordando-se de que modo a população brasileira participou dessas mudanças. Apresenta-se o tema corrupção em sua origem e abordagens históricas, destacando os problemas causados no país derivados dessa patologia social. Além disso, evidenciam-se elementos da opinião pública e das novas ferramentas, utilizadas para dar luz às informações para a população, sobretudo, as redes de informação virtuais, como elemento informacional de discussão e potencial indutor a movimentos de transformação. Por fim, propõe-se um modelo pautado em Sen, Rawls e Kliksberg que permita reforçar as relações de bem-estar social e liberdades políticas aliadas ao componente político, direito civil, possibilidades de comunicação e liberdade de expressão como elementos fundamentais do processo democrático.
Este trabalho busca analisar a complexidade do atual modelo de tributação brasileiro, suas principais iniquidades e a sua abrangência sobre o tema da desigualdade social, que exclui expressivo número de pessoas do acesso a incontáveis direitos sociais. Tem-se por objetivo defender a viabilidade para a regulamentação e implantação do (IFG), previsto na Constituição brasileira. Com base em uma leitura sistemática da Constituição, este estudo concluiu que, para a construção de uma sociedade mais justa e igualitária, o Brasil precisa reformular o Sistema Tributário. Tal reformulação deve contar com alíquotas progressivas de impostos e um sistema que respeite a capacidade contributiva de todos, sem, contudo, ferir o mínimo existencial, o que inclui a regulamentação do IGF como ferramenta para atenuar as desigualdades persistentes no país.
