This research aims to produce a valid practicum instruction module; the result of student assessments regarding the practicum instruction module; there are good results of students’ scientific process skills; there is an increase in students' scientific literacy; and student responses to the practicum instruction module. This type of research refers to the 4-D model. The research subjects are Even Semester students for the 2020-2021 academic year. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, Universitas Samudra. The research instrument consisted of validation sheets, observation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of validation data presented in the form of a percentage; student assessment of the practicum instruction module using percentages process skills data analyzed by N-gain score; learning outcomes were analyzed by N-gain score, and; student responses are presented in the form of a percentage. The results of the practicum module validation are categorized as good with a score of 87.5%; The results of student assessment of the practicum instruction module on product trials are categorized as good in terms of indicators of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, and language; The scientific process skills of students before and after conducting product trials of 0.63% are categorized as high; The scientific literacy ability of students is 0.56%, means it has increased; Student response to the practicum Instruction module is positive
Abstrak Pelaksanaan PKM (pengabdian kepada masyarakat) diversifikasi ikan Bandeng sebagai produk makanan untuk menumbuhkan wirausaha kreatif bagi kelompok PKK Payabujuk Tunong Langsa. Tujuan kegiatan ini memberikan pelatihan kepada masyarakat dalam berwirausaha industri rumah tangga melalui produk olahan ikan Bandeng menjadi keripik ikan dan nugget ikan. Pelaksanan kegiatan 2 – 7 Agustus 2021. Metode pelaksanan meliputi: (1) Sosialisasi kegiatan diversifikasi produk ikan Bandeng, (2) Persiapan dan penyedian alat dan bahan kegiatan, (3) Pelatihan diversikasi produk olahan ikan bandeng, (4) Penguatan menajemen usaha mitra dan (5) Monitoring dan evaluasi PKM. Hasil kegiatan ini menghasilkan produk olahan ikan bandeng yang dikemas dengan kuantitas 30 pack keripik ikan Bandeng dan 35 box nugget ikan Bandeng. Kegiatan ini menstimulasi kelompok PKK untuk memulai usaha baru dalam usaha kuliner cemilan makanan sehat yang diolah dari ikan Bandeng. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dalam berwirausaha kreatif bagi kelompok PKK. Kata Kunci: Diversifikasi Ikan Bandeng, Produk Makanan, Wirausaha
Ikan kembung merupakan salah satu spesies ikan dan komoditas pangan yang mudah mengalami kemunduran mutu. Buah belimbing wuluh dan daun kemangi dapat dijadikan alternatif sebagai pengawet, karena mengandung senyawa kimia yang dapat berfungsi sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbandingan buah belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi ) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum ) sebagai bahan pengawet alami terhadap nilai organoleptik ikan kembung (Rastrellinger sp.). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Experimental Laboratories. Penelitian menggunakan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yang terdiri (ekstrak buah belimbing wuluh P1=30%,P3=40%, P5=50% dan ekstrak daun kemangi P2=30%, P4=40%, P6=50%) dengan waktu penyimpanan selama 24 jam dan menggunakan 15 panelis semi terlatih. Data organoleptik dianalisis dengan uji ANOVA faktorial. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara buah belimbing wuluh dan daun kemangi terhadap daya tahan ikan kembung. Daun kemangi dengan konsentrasi 50% lebih efektif digunakan sebagai pengawet alami ikan kembung (Rastrellinger sp.).
The learning tools of the biodiversity practicum e-module in lectures using the e-module can be useful and serve as a guide or guide for science process skills activities. The purpose of the pelitian is to study the matter of Creating and Designing Products for Learning Tools E-Module Local Biodiversity to improve Science Process Skills and Conduct Feasibility and Practical Testson e-Modules Practicum Biodiversitas in terms of Cover, Module Design, Language and Material Content. While the method in this study uses the product development method from the e-module in practicum activities in the science process skills process which consists of research stages, namely formulating potentials and problems, collecting data, conducting research product designs, conducting product validation, carrying out product revisions, conducting product trials and continuing product revisions. The results showed in terms of expert validation that the biodiversity practicum e-module is suitable for use while the practicality test given by the questionnaire to students in response to the e- assessment The biodiversity practicum module is very practical to be used in the implementation of the biodiversity practicum
