The study represents an attempt to introduce the way to analysis of a meaning level of a literary text. The actual multilevel text division is presented, five text levels are defined. The study of a meaning level of a text is carried out allowing the meaning level to be a complex, self-sufficient element of a text, nevertheless due to its qualities occupying the prior position in the level paradigm, and thus able to regulate the work of other levels and the structure of a text in general. The necessity of a complex and profound analysis of the meaning level of a text is stated. The possible outcomes of the analysis and ways of conducting it are defined. The most efficient way of analysis results to be in developing an invariant integral model of a meaning level of a text that wouldallowanalysingthemechanismsofsynthesisofmeaningplaneelementsintoa complex structure. The basic elements of the meaning level of a literary text are named; their brief characteristic as well as their prior functions are given. The material for the study is presented by the novels of the dystopia genre of Russian, English and American writers, belonging to the period of the first half of the 20-th century. The reasons for choosing the dystopia genre are indicated, the results of analysis carried on the novels chosen are provided.
The article represents an attempt of generalizing the material, collected while researching the problem of meaning structure of dystopian novels of the first half of the 20-th century. The meaning structure of the novels studied was determined as consisting of partial meanings, integrating into initial meaning. Not only the traits of identity between the partial meanings of dystopian novels were revealed, but it was also determined that the partial meanings of utopian novels resulted to be of similar nature. As was revealed in the course of the research many of the partial meanings of dystopian novels ascend to Plato's "Republic". The identity of meaning structure of utopian and dystopian novels allows to draw the conclusion that both genres have generic nature and can be defined as meta-genre.

The paper is devoted to the study of implementation features for initial meaning of a literary text in the process of author-reader interaction. The initial meaning is characterized as the most influential element of the meaning system. It occupies the dominant position in a literary text meaning structure hierarchy, thereby functioning as an organizing principle of a text and ensuring correlation of all its elements. The initial meaning also determines the process and the course of text space deployment, for the latter will not be completed until the initial meaning is reflected in the plane of the text in all the completeness required by its creator. In terms of linguosynergetic paradigm the initial meaning can be defined as an order-parameter, relative to which partial meanings are symmetrized at the meaning level of the text.
