Abstract. This paper presents principles of a novel approach to calculation of reinforced concrete structures by based on "calculated cross-section" method. It made possible to solve the problem of transition of a reinforced concrete crosssection from "continuous" state to the state "with a crack in a stretched zone". This solution allows creating unified methodology for calculating durability, rigidity and crack resistance in the framework of the theory of reinforced concrete resistance.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
