“Música de cabaret” está conformado por 43 microrrelatos que su autor, Francisco Tario (1911-1977), incorpora a Tapioca Inn. Mansión para fantasmas (1952). Con base en la propuesta de David Roas, analizamos los rasgos discursivos, formales y temáticos de estos microrrelatos con un objetivo: demostrar el trabajo consciente y articulado por parte de nuestro autor, en tanto muestran características de un óptimo microrrelato, es decir, exponen una estructura narrativa microficcional. Aunado a este objetivo, pretendemos evidenciar que estos microrrelatos compendian la poética tariana, en su predilección por lo narrativo, la ironía, el absurdo y lo fantástico, además de aludir a tópicos como la locura, el sueño/realidad y el personaje del fantasma. Así, mediante una notoria intratextualidad expuesta con alusiones a la cuentística tariana, los microrrelatos de “Música de cabaret” devienen síntesis de los registros discursivos, formales y temáticos tan preciados en la obra de Tario.
La injerencia de una obra literaria en otra ha sido un fenómeno permanente y estéticamente valioso. Este quehacer transtextual requiere un profundo conocimiento e interés en la obra recobrada y un agudo talento para crear un nuevo texto a partir de ella. Éste es el caso del cuento “La audiencia de los pájaros” de Álvaro Uribe, donde se comprueba la directa intervención de la literatura mediante paratextos, intertextos e hipertextos. Lo relevante de estos vínculos transtextuales es que, en el relato a estudiar, nutren y fundamentan lo fantástico expuesto en diversos recursos. En este sentido, el cuento de Uribe apela al poema “El fénix y la tórtola” de William Shakespeare y, a través de un epígrafe, notas a pie, alusiones y una transposición diegética narrativizada del mismo, se relata la historia de un hombre que muere por la intrusión de un ser sobrenatural en su departamento, al parecer un ave fénix, quien todo lo incendia, tal como sucede en el hipotexto de Shakespeare. Este acto creativo implica reconocer la literatura anterior, pero también la habilidad, la inteligencia y el talento para crear un cuento en donde, sin demeritar la obra precedente, se propone un nuevo universo ficcional: creación y recreación en permanente diálogo. Así, página a página se descubre la riqueza de “La audiencia de los pájaros”, un cuento fantástico inquietante construido con base en otra obra literaria y cuya experiencia estética deviene memorable gracias a su impecable urdimbre.
La escritora mexicana Cecilia Eudave (1968) posee una obra sólida expuesta en ensayos, novelas, cuentos y microrrelatos. Estos últimos se encuentran principalmente en Para viajeros improbables (2011) y Microcolapsos (2017). De acuerdo con varios teóricos como David Roas, estos textos de Cecilia Eudave poseen las cualidades de la narratividad y brevedad, apoyados por rasgos formales (tramas sencillas, personajes con escasa descripción, espacio reducido o ausente, tiempo abreviado mediante la elipsis, pocos diálogos, final sorpresivo, títulos significativos y experimentación lingüística) y rasgos temáticos (intertextualidad e intención crítica). El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las características discursivas, formales y temáticas de los microrrelatos de Eudave que confluyen en su propuesta estética; en ese sentido, al final nos enfocaremos en siete de sus mejores microrrelatos: «Vendas», «Hormigas», «La mascota imaginaria», «Cocodrilocabezas», «La amante del té», «Laberinto» y «De natura», los cuales devienen fantásticos, género al que la autora ha dedicado espléndidas páginas.
Adriana González Mateos (1961) es una de las escritoras mexicanas más relevantes de las últimas décadas. Su importancia radica en la calidad estética evidenciada en Cuentos para ciclistas y jinetes y El lenguaje de las orquídeas; ambas obras evidencian una narrativa transgresora, intensa y estimulante, pues temáticamente abordan la evasión de la cotidianeidad mediante el erotismo y la violencia, lo cual analizaremos en el presente trabajo. Particularmente, nos centraremos en sus personajes femeninos: las adolescentes con sus respectivas iniciaciones eróticas y las mujeres adultas con sus problemáticas interpersonales, marcadas por la ausencia o libre demostración del erotismo.Dichas tematizaciones se enriquecen con el hábil recurso de las historias alternas o superpuestas, además del uso de diversos símbolos.
En el cuento “El otro Aleph” de la escritora mexicana Cecilia Eudave se presenta una valiosa propuesta en torno al discurso fantástico sostenida por la alteridad tempo-espacial y por los desdoblamientos de los personajes, lo cual se complementa con sus vínculos transtextuales, en tanto remite al célebre cuento “El Aleph” de Jorge Luis Borges. El objetivo de este artículo consiste en analizar “El otro Aleph” de Eudave, a partir tanto de sus registros fantásticos como de sus relaciones transtextuales. La confluencia de ambos elementos demuestra que lo fantástico, en tal relato, surge gracias a sus vínculos con el cuento borgeano. Para el análisis recupero los postulados teóricos de Tzvetan Todorov y de Rosalba Campra. En concreto, de Todorov recobro el uso del imperfecto, las frases modalizantes, el sentido literal, la vacilación representada y los temas del Yo. A lo cual aúno la propuesta de Rosalba Campra, a través de las convalidaciones, los silencios, los indicios y las categorías sustantivas. Respecto a la transtextualidad, me centro en la propuesta de Gérard Genette, noción puntualizada en el paratexto, el intertexto y el hipertexto. Por todo ello, “El otro Aleph” de Cecilia Eudave configura un seductor mecanismo que implica el reconocimiento de la literatura anterior, pero también habilidad y talento para, a partir de una obra precedente, proponer un nuevo universo ficcional.
