Destillation des Materials mit Wasser im geschlossenen, evakuierten Apparat. Vor dem Evakuieren wird mit Eis‐Kochsalz gekühlt, die Vorlage enthält NaOH‐Lösung.
Fällen des Destillates mit Ba(OH)2, Filtrieren und Wiederholung der Destillation unter Zusatz von H2SO4. Die Vorlage enthält wieder NaOH.
Eindampfen des Destillates im Vakuum.
