Experiências de aprendizagem: reflexões sobre o ensino de língua estrangeira no contexto escolar brasileiro Mariney Pereira Conceição Universidade de Brasília O objetivo deste trabalho é refletir a respeito do ensino de língua estrangeira (inglês) oferecido em escolas de Ensino Médio brasileiras, através de uma análise de relatos de experiências de aprendizagem de alunos de graduação sobre sua aprendizagem da língua inglesa. Cinqüenta e um informantes participaram do estudo. Os instrumentos da coleta de dados foram um questionário escrito e entrevistas orais semi-estruturadas. Os resultados da análise sugerem que os professores ainda utilizam uma abordagem tradicional de ensino, através da tradução de textos e listas de palavras para memorização.2 Ação, aqui, refere-se à maneira como os alunos percebem e interpretam sua aprendizagem e às estratégias de aprendizagem que adotam (HORWITZ, 1987;OXFORD, 1990). A acepção de ação que se toma, neste estudo, foi proposta por Dewey (1933), que caracterizou ação como proposital e intrinsecamente relacionada com o pensamento. O termo ação é também utilizado, neste trabalho, para se referir à prática do professor, considerando-se as ações (ou práticas), conforme Dewey (op. cit.), como relacionadas ao pensamento e inseridas em um contexto.
Neste artigo, discutimos a importância do construto crenças, seu conceito e características, destacando a importância das crenças na formação reflexiva de professores de línguas. Ressaltamos, através de uma discussão das relações entre crenças, experiências, contexto e a prática do professor, a importância da reflexão acerca das crenças e suas implicações para o processo de formação de professores. Duas implicações podem ser levantadas a partir das discussões aqui propostas: a primeira refere-se à influência que as crenças e experiências anteriores de aprendizagem podem exercer sobre a prática pedagógica do professor, baseado em Johnson (1994), Richards e Lockhart (1996) e Zeichner (1983, 1999); e a segunda trata do papel do contexto de ensino como uma força que interage com as crenças do professor e, consequentemente,com sua prática docente.
O objetivo deste artigo é investigar marcas identitárias de uma trabalhadora doméstica buscando compreender os motivos que a levaram a assumir uma identidade de analfabeta. Os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos são norteados pela ADC (FAIRCLOUGH, 1999,2016), a Pedagogia Crítica de Freire (1979, 1981) e Hall (2006) e Norton (2000) para discussões acerca de identidades. Uma entrevista semiestruturada e duas narrativas visuais (MELO-PFEIFER, 2015) são os instrumentos para a geração dos dados. A participante assume a identidade de analfabeta, nega suas origens - a roça -, assumindo o modo de falar da cidade como o correto e como um espaço digno de sobrevivência.
À medida em que nossas salas de aula se tornam cada vez mais inclusivas, observa-se um crescente e necessário interesse em relação às minorias e àqueles que não têm acesso aos recursos materiais e sociais necessários à participação efetiva na comunidade social. Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir identidades (HALL, 2006), investimento e comunidades imaginadas (NORTON, 2000) de alunos de Braille, por meio da análise de suas narrativas a respeito dos motivos que os levaram a procurar a formação em Braille. Procuramos investigar as relações entre a motivação dos alunos e suas identidades. Buscando alcançar esse objetivo, analisamos narrativas escritas de sete alunos participantes de um curso de formação em Braille oferecido pelo Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Brasília. Os resultados apontam o investimento dos alunos para aprender Braille, com base em seus desejos de participação em comunidades imaginadas, revelando marcas identitárias dos participantes, assim como a busca pela formação continuada em suas carreiras.
