Resumo: Reflete sobre os vestígios memoriais colecionados por uma cidade, Porto Alegre (Brasil), a vida social dos objetos inseridos nessa coleção, no sentido não só de sua patrimonialização, mas de sua dinâmica de memoração, bem como da visibilidade desse conjunto de objetos que estão em constante movimento de criação e transformação. O corpus de análise considera dois objetos digitais: o aplicativo Porto Alegre Guide, como um suporte à consolidação ou à criação de memórias sobre a cidade de Porto Alegre e o site da Prefeitura Municipal, que reúne equipamentos e espaços valorizados como patrimônios da cidade. Objetiva, a partir dessa análise, compreender a relação entre memória, informação e patrimônio cultural. Conclui que as múltiplas identidades e polifonias existentes na cidade de Porto Alegre e que têm potencialidade para emergirem como patrimônio cultural não são divulgadas pela Prefeitura Municipal, nem pelo aplicativo Porto Alegre Guide. O artigo analisa as informações disponíveis sobre a cidade em um aplicativo de celular e a sua relação com a memória social. Engloba os fluxos informacionais que estruturam o aplicativo e atuam na virtualização da cidade. Ao percorrer a cidade por meio de sua representação virtual, deixamos rastros informacionais de nossa passagem, o que contribui para a construção de narrativas sobre ela. Utiliza a narratologia como método para analisar as informações disponíveis no aplicativo Porto Alegre Guide, caracterizando-o como uma fonte de informação sobre a cidade e sua memória. Enfoca na análise das informações que tratam dos enredos, dos episódios, dos personagens, dos cenários e das sequências cronológicas que compõem as histórias da cidade narradas pelo aplicativo. Conclui que todos esses elementos, embora distintos, convergem para uma mesma narrativa: Porto Alegre é uma cidade que agrega às tradições do passado, o vanguardismo do presente, ao mesmo tempo em que se mantém aberta às transformações do futuro.
Este artigo objetiva caracterizar a cidade como um espaço de produção de memória; relacionar tempo, memória e nostalgia; e identificar os objetos digitais no Instagram como mediadores de memória, analisando-os durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Utiliza como metodologia uma pesquisa bibliográfica aliada às análises qualitativas e quantitativas, imagética e textual, das publicações feitas na plataforma Instagram, de março a julho de 2020, e filtradas pela hashtag #tbtrj. Os autores que norteiam o texto são Maurice Halbwachs, Pierre Nora, Milton Santos, Andreas Huyssen, Massimo Canevacci, Arjun Appadurai e José Van Dijck. Conclui que na pandemia, as publicações com a #tbtrj representam os lugares de memória da cidade do Rio de Janeiro de forma nostálgica, a partir de uma memória afetiva, projetando um futuro imaginado após a pandemia.
