Prezados (as) professores (as)! Este Guia Didático corresponde à parte prática da pesquisa realizada pelo professor Givanildo José Cordeiro, com a orientação da professora Dr.ª Mariluza Sartori Deorce e do professor Dr. Jardel da Costa Brozeguini, do Programa de Pós-Graduação ofertado pelo Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo -IFES. O produto foi aplicado em 11 aulas, na 2ª etapa da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) Ensino Médio, em uma escola da rede estadual de ensino localizada no município de Viana -ES. Fora proposto na pesquisa o estudo dos tópicos quantidade de movimento e colisões, na EJA, contextualizados com a educação para o trânsito, por meio de uma Sequência Didática (SD) elaborada e aplicada a partir dos pressupostos da pedagogia dialógica de Paulo Freire. Como abordagem metodológica utilizamos os Três Momentos Pedagógicos (3MP's).Os autores acreditam que a critério dos professores, essa SD com devidas adequações que se fizerem necessárias também poderá ser aplicada tanto nas aulas de ciências das turmas do 6º ao 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental como nas turmas do Ensino Médio Regular.A pesquisa foi desenvolvida num contexto de isolamento social causado pela COVID--19, assim todos os experimentos foram realizados de maneira demonstrativa dialógica na sala de aula, devido as condições impostas pelos protocolos sanitários da Secretaria de Saúde, que nos obrigava a evitar as aglomerações entre os educandos. Caso queiram reproduzir partes da Sequência Didática ou aplicá-la na íntegra, sugerimos que os educandos possam manusear os experimentos que foram realizados, desde que não se exija isolamento social.

Este artigo relata o desenvolvimento de um projeto de descoberta de asteroides desenvolvido com estudantes do Ensino Médio do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo, Campus Cariacica, através de uma colaboração com a International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC), durante 2017, 2018 e 2019. Apresenta-se também um estudo dos perfis dos estudantes, suas motivações e expectativas e também possíveis influências de suas participações em suas formações acadêmicas. O projeto consiste no repasse, pela IASC, de fotografias inéditas do céu noturno que podem permitir a descoberta de novos asteroides. As análises são realizadas pelos estudantes através do software Astrometrica. A importância do projeto reside em se conhecer mais sobre os asteroides, além da oportunidade dos estudantes de terem contato com dados reais inéditos de pesquisa. Os resultados dos estudos indicaram como pontos fortes a participação numa colaboração internacional, o trabalho de equipe e a possibilidade dos estudantes de participarem e apresentarem seus trabalhos em congressos. Estes resultados podem indicar aprendizagens atitudinais e procedimentais que acrescentarão benefícios na vida dos participantes. Dentre as dificuldades que eles encontraram, a principal foi a falta de aprofundamento dos parâmetros técnicos do software Astrometrica.
