RESUMOEste trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de um filtro passa-baixa na banda L, supressor de harmônicos com banda larga de rejeição, capacidade de alta potência e baixa perda de inserção. O projeto do dispositivo tem como objetivo sua utilização em um transceptor de radiofrequência que opera nesta banda, o que resulta em restrições de dimensões e de geometria.Uma implementação modificada de filtro de impedância degrau em microfita em substrato suspenso é utilizada para reduzir o aumento de temperatura em condição de alta potência. Simulações do modelo Full-wave 3D e resultados de teste do protótipo são apresentados, incluindo testes em alta potência. O protótipo apresenta perda de inserção menor que 0,35 dB, perda de retorno maior que 23 dB, 42 dB de atenuação do segundo harmônico, 87 dB de atenuação do terceiro harmônico e 40 dB de atenuação até o 11º harmônico, e suportou testes de potência de 75 W média/ 2 kW pico sem apresentar evidências posteriores de dano ou degradação de desempenho.Palavras-chave: filtro passa-baixa; capacidade de alta potência; substrato suspenso; impedância degrau; larga banda de rejeição.
