Trata-se de uma discussão a respeito da vivência sob a medida do distanciamento social a partir da percepção de pessoas surdas e de uma pessoa surdocega. Objetivou-se analisar as representações discursivas da pessoa surda e surdocega acerca das medidas de distanciamento social, cujo resultado caracteriza um isolamento, seja ele anterior e/ou durante a pandemia da Covid-19. Teoricamente, o trabalho se baseia no conceito de Representação Social (MOSCOVICI, 2007) e, metodologicamente, recorre à Análise Crítica do Discurso (ADC). Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo e se desenvolveu analiticamente a partir da categoria Representação de Eventos (VIEIRA; RESENDE, 2016). Os resultados apontam uma representação negativa acerca do distanciamento social, que resulta em isolamento, sendo, do ponto de vista da pessoa surda e surdocega, um isolamento causado pela não interação linguística e/ou dificuldades de interação virtual devido à má qualidade da internet.
Resumo: A pesquisa está voltada para o fenômeno da sinonímia na tradução entre Língua portuguesa (LP) e Libras, como foco o trabalho do profissional intérprete de Libras. Objetiva-se analisar a sinonímia nas referidas línguas como também verificar a valorização semântica entre as sentenças traduzidas pelo intérprete de Libras. O aporte teórico é formado por Lyons (1981) . Utilizamos abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Obtemos as traduções para análises a partir de sentenças escritas em português e submetidas a traduções por intérpretes de Libras do munícipio de Abaetetuba-Pa. Constatou-se que a sinonímia, por ser um processo constitutivo da tradução, é essencial para garantir o sentido na língua de chegada. Assim, qualquer perda semântica como verificada nas análises das traduções com o sentido literal e no acréscimo de informação * Graduada em Letras, habilitação em Língua Portuguesa, pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2016).
Este trabalho é um recorte de pesquisa cuja base teórica abarca a Análise de Discurso Crítica (ADC) e os Estudos Surdos. Objetiva-se, de modo geral, analisar como são avaliados alguns aspectos do mundo (relação com a Língua Portuguesa e a Libras) por uma aluna surda. Especificamente, busca-se identificar como a estudante surda narrativiza sua experiência e, por conseguinte, compreender as implicações dessas avaliações para seu processo de identificação. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de base etnográfica. O objeto são respostas obtidas a partir de uma entrevista com uma estudante surda sobre a sua experiência com a Língua Portuguesa. A análise de dados foi conduzida a partir da ADC e da Linguística Sistêmico Funcional (LSF). A função discursiva pontuada aqui é a identificacional, a partir da análise da categoria avaliação. Os resultados apontam para uma construção negativa sobre a Língua Portuguesa e seu ensino e positiva sobre a Libras, constituindo uma identidade que se afasta da perspectiva ouvintista sobre a surdez assim como da relação entre o surdo e o ensino da Língua Portuguesa como sua segunda língua.
Diante do contexto de inclusão nas universidades, as pessoas surdas trazem consigo uma língua distinta da que é compartilhada amplamente na academia por um grupo majoritariamente ouvinte. Pensar sobre essa questão linguística também implica nos modos de como olhar o outro. Assim, este trabalho possui como principal objetivo refletir sobre a língua de sinais como artefato cultural que demarca a diferença das pessoas surdas como sujeitos socioantropológicos. Para este trabalho, a base metodológica está ancorada em uma pesquisa exploratória, a partir da revisão bibliográfica. Os principais subsídios teóricos são Silva (2000), Bhabha (1991), Woodward (2000), Skliar (2003; 2013), Lacerda (2000; 2014), dentre outros. Os resultados apontam que é imprescindível conceber o surdo a partir de sua diferença linguística, suas identidades são construídas e marcadas por meio da diferença. A Libras, os surdos e suas experiências visuais determinam o conjunto de diferenças em relação a qualquer outro grupo de sujeitos. Palavras-chave: Surdo. Universidade. Diferença linguística.
