Influencia de los factores socioculturales en la salud bucal de mujeres en edad fertil de la comunidad rural de MalaJt influences of the sociocultural factors in the buccal health of women in fertile age of the rural community of Mala Resumen El propósito de este estudio fue el de determinar el grado de influencia que ejercen los factores socioculturales en la salud bucal de las Mujeres en Edad Fértil (MEF) de la comunidad rural de Mala en el año 2004. Para este estudio se tomó un grupo muestral de 40 MEF (15 a 49 años de edad), que fueron seleccionadas cuidadosamente según los criterios establecidos para la presente investigación. A estas mujeres se les realizó una encuesta de tipo estructurada de acuerdo con las variables de estudio y luego pasaron por un examen dental para corroborar el estado de salud bucal y se tomó el Inruce epOD de cada una. Se obtuvo una fuerte influencia del factor número de hijos encontrándose 9 diferencias significativas seguido de otros factores, de los cuales destacan: edad, grado de instrucción, estado civil, ocupación y violencia oontra la mujer todos ellos con igual número de diferencias significativas. Se conduye que los factores socioculturales tienen una gran influencia sobre el estado de salud bucal de las mujeres en edad fértil de la comunidad de Mala siendo el faclor de mayor influencia el número de hijos, AbstraetThe purpose of this study is to determinate the influence of the sociocultural factors in the oral health ofWomen in Fertile Age (WFA) in Mala 's rural comunnity on2004. For this study we take a research group of 40 WF A of Mala cornmunity (from 15 to 49 years old) who were selected accordmg to the selection criterion establishcd for the present study. To these women we practice a structure survey according to the research variable and then we practice a dental examination to corroborate the oral health state we also take DMFT index oi every one.
